Easy to find site. Quiet . Site was sloped for a large tent. Spigots marked as non-potable due to cracked water storage, so we had to filter the water. Slightly annoying. Great access to sand dollar beach.

The campground host was AWFUL. These people should not be campground hosts if they are this angry when people come to camp. They were extremely rude and seemed like they hated their job as a CAMPGROUND HOST. They should never host ever again.

My firewood and hatchet got stole the first day when I was out. People suggested Iinform the camp host. She had a notion who it might be so I asked that person if he actually saw anyone take the wood. He described the car which led me to the campsite where the wood was. The man was very apologetic and returned wood and hatchet. I went to tell the host about the turn around and mentioned that if the host still clipped the names and dates on each camp site post, maybe this wouldnt have happened. She immediately got angry and said I was wasting her time off (7:15 in the evening). The next day I left a note that I would return to my reserved campsite that night. When I returned, the note was gone and so was the wood. I always thought a host was available at all times.Evidently not! BTW, the outhouses were sparkling

Overall, my experience with the Recreaton.gov sight was good. The site was relatively easy to navigate and make reservations on . Unfortunately, only some some sites had photos but not all , including the one we initially reserved. The site did not have more than one level site fora tent. Fortunately, the campground wasnt full and we were able to relocate to a site that worked well for three tents.

It was a good experience, pretty campground. So happy you have someone selling firewood! Pricey but worth it. The only issue was 2 of the 4 bathrooms were out of service. Made it inconvenient to go to the bathroom always people in them. Other than that issue would come back!

Although the campground was nearly totally filled, the campground remained peacefully serene. Definitely walk up the road to Sand Dollar Beach.

By far one of the most beautiful coastal campgrounds in California.

Everything about the campsite was great! The camp hosts were on top of all maintenance and custodian needs and the sites are nestled in a beautiful tree grove with incredible ocean views just across the PCH. The 4 star review is because the online booking system is a huge pain and hard to navigate. The booking policies are unclear, dates are difficult to find and the FF situation is a mess. This is on the management company not the actual campsite. Otherwise, we will definitely be returning!

We live in Santa Cruz County. Visited when Hwy 1 had a land slide had to drive up from Cambria. Beautiful drive! We always camp on the outer side of the Plaskett Creek loop with wilderness behind us. Plenty of privacy. Not always a level spot for tents. Could be easily fixed by grading the soil. We arrived to find no portable water. Lesson learned always pack a few gallons. Camp host directed us to Lime Kiln to refill our containers.
Took a small day hike along the bluffs. Aqua sea crashing over the rocks. So beautiful!

This campground is such a gem, small but beautiful and the proximity to the ocean is great! Mostly tents and camper vans but we arrived with a 25 Airstream. If it hadnt been for the amazing hosts we probably would have been out of luck, because our original site was too small. But they worked with us to find us the perfect spot! Its not often that you come across such great campsite hosts, and in such a beautiful place! The grounds were clean and well maintained, the area is gorgeous and the hosts are awesome. We cant wait to go back again!

We loved our stay at Plaskett Creek, I only wish we had more time to explore the beaches and overlooks close to the campground as they were beautiful!

Plenty of space at each campsite. Short walk to a beautiful beach. No showers. Firewood is a little pricey.

Everything was good. It would be nice to have running water in the bathrooms and also campsites that are NOT level or flat for tent camping , I think there are only a few in that category. other than that the host was awesome!
