We were greeted by our friendly, helpful camp host, Michael. He gave us important information and helped us get oriented. It set the tone for a fantastic stay.

Great quiet campground, first time up here and we had a fantastic time! Out spot (#18) had a slight slope but we managed for the 5 days we were there in the tent. The hosts keep the place looking great and the bathrooms had running water and were super clean. The near by Jade Cove and Sand Dollar beach were a 5 minute walk out of the campgrounds.

Everything was great, but since there was no cell phone reception, it would have been nice to have some boards showing hikes around the area.

I recently stayed at this campground with my mom and niece, who were visiting from Central Asia, and they were absolutely amazed by how clean and well-organized everything was. Ive always loved this place, and if youre lucky enough to snag a spot here, youre in for a treat!I was thrilled to see Michael and Punky again on this trip. They went above and beyond during my last visit when I fell ill with a fever, taking care of me for days until I recovered. They even looked after my 7-year-old daughter, keeping her entertained and happy. I can't express enough gratitude for their incredible kindness and generosity. Every time I visit, I feel welcomedalmost like coming home. Michael and Punky are the heart and soul of this campground, making the long drive worth every mile. They maintain the grounds beautifully and always check in to ensure you have everything you need. Their love for children is evident in the way they treat them as if they were their own. I always look forward to coming back, thanks to them! Forever grateful to Michael and Punky and their sweet dogs and cats!

Plaskett Creek is lovely location, quiet and peaceful. The Camp Host was extremely welcoming and had good hints for a hike. We can highly recommend this spot.

Great camp sites, clean facilities, and incredible location and view. Family and pet friendly. It was not mentioned in campground summary, but there was NO POTABLE WATER on site (as of June 2023). Flush toilets were available but no sink access for personal hygiene. The spigots around campground are running, but again non-potable water. You can get free potable drinking water if you drive less than a mile North of campground to US Forest Service building and you must have your own water container/jug to fill. Or South of campground, you can buy bottled drinking water in Gorda.

This is a campground where you can enjoy to camp under the beautiful trees by the hills and also hear the waves from Sand Dollar Beach ??
So many walking trails close by to explore. It was very nice.
Restrooms at campground were very clean, unfortunately there was no running water in the faucets, but other than that, everything was perfect.
The Camp hosts are very nice.

Hosts were great, views were beautiful, and the weather was nice!

The spaces are a bit close in the middle. But overall, it's still an awesome place. Be mindful of ticks...there are A LOT!

Such a nice campground. Was completely full but had plenty of room so it did not feel congested. Bathrooms were incredibly clean and the walk to Sand Dollar Beach is super easy. Zero cell signal at the campsite, I was able to get a single bar of signal on the southern beach cliff, if that’s important to you. All In all, I would highly recommend.

This is such a clean and relaxing campground. We want to personally thank Adeline and Gaby for being such good camp hosts. They are so welcoming and they do their job really well. The landscaping is beautiful 10/10 to them. The beach is just a quick 5 minute hike out but you don’t even have to go because there are spots where you get amazing views. At night there are so many stars you can see because it feels very remote. The only thing I recommend is that you constantly keep up with your reservation because the website changes a lot. At first you will get a message that the campground is First come first serve but not necessarily. I made reservations 6 months in advance and it would not let me reserve my site for another day because it had the FF sign. So I thought well I’m already there so I’ll be the first. Turns out throughout the year that changes and eventually you can reserve those so called FF spots. Help that helps.
