The spot is very nice. With trees and amenities well kept, the campground managers were super nice and helpful with the campground and things to see around the campground, they had great attitudes a real please to meet them. This place is great.

Campground is well maintained, and host is very friendly and informative. Restrooms are not open at this time but portapotties are provided (no hand wash stations). Spaces inside the loops are very exposed but pretty spacious.

BEWARE of lack of provisions! NO potable water! Only the north end of the campground (near the host site) has water (which is non-potable). There is water available at the fire station (just north of the campground). But I had to find that out myself, the hosts didn't offer any suggestions. Porta-potties are only here as well and they haven't been cleaned in a month----so gross. The hand-wash stations have soap, but out of water. The camp hosts are typically there in the afternoon/evenings to check in and sell firewood ($15/bundle- cash only). They are not there at night or mornings. The group sites looked perfect! There are 2 vault toilets per group site and they were clean! (worth the bike ride up from the single sites). No cell service in the area, download hiking trails ahead of time, they are not well marked and we encountered several splits in trails without signage. Due to the landslide road closure expect much more traffic on Nacimiento Road. The McLarens and Lamborghinis were fun to watch fly by (but I'm really thankful we weren't walking to the beach at those times; they were going so fast!)

This was our 1st time at Plaskett Creek CG. We stayed in site 7. This is a beautiful location and a quiet campground (I would estimate the campground was 3/4 full). We loved this location and campground so much that we are returning in a few months!

Wow wow wowAn absolutely amazing park! Peaceful, quiet & beautiful. Stunning beach 5 minute walk away and hikes close to the camp. Such a shame highway 1 was closed just a little north of the ground when we stayed there, but was still worth going to, even then! Great place to stay in Big Sur at the moment with all the unfortunate closures. Highly reccommend!

Great campground and fantastic hosts! We were met by friendly hosts upon our arrival. The facilities and grounds were very clean. The location was easy to get to, despite PCH being closed from the north. Mostly cliff views and few beach access spots. Such a beautiful area! We had a great experience and would stay again.

Good view into the sea, noise from traffic at night.

An incredible site with plenty of space between pitches and the light coming through the trees is magical. We loved the walk over to Sand Dollar Beach! A very special place!

Beautiful spot, wind protected and right across the street from the amazing Sand Dollar beach. Wonderful host couple that really take great care of the campground. Big Sur is just magical.

The Campground Hosts ran their generator until the early morning hours. So when picking a campsite stay as far away as possible. Otherwise a great campground.

Good scenic and clean camp. No cell phone service/no data... And, keep away from the northern sites because the generator/water pump comes on all night sometimes and can be heard through the night and early morning, really kills the serene quiet that can be experienced at the campsite. Great surf place but don't bring a boat or kayak, hard to carry down the stairs on beach access. No showers! Bring your H2Bag or baby wipe accesories. Shade is everywhere, great camp.

Great location on the Big Sur coast. Campground located on the east side of Hwy 1, just a 5 minute walk from a cliff overlooking Sand Dollar Beach and Jade Cove. Beautiful scenery. No dump site nearby. Drive 40 miles north to Monterey Veteran's Memorial Park or 40 miles south to a Calif state park for $10 sanitary dump sites. The drives are slow going but scenic.

Great location, tucked back in the trees.. Poison Oak everywhere, with that campgrounds very well kept (vegetation and cleanliness). Flush toilets, potable water, and daily trash collection. Staff were excellent, however spread pretty thin, very friendly and helpful. Will be back, Thank you!
