We really appreciated in loop C where no generators were allowed. This makes for a much better experience in a campground to enjoy the peace and quite of nature all around.

Unbeatable views over the Grand Valley, and stars at night. This is such a well-kept campground. The bathrooms are always clean.

Campground site was great for our group - we had two vehicles, one with a rooftop tent and the other built out inside. The driveway fit both comfortably and was flat so it was easy to set up. Restrooms were nearby and clean. This site is close to the site behind, so would be good for a group coming in that needed two sites, but if you want space, this might not be the best site because the table areas are pretty close together. There is hiking trails you can take from the campground and it would be a good area to road bike. You are fairly close to the visitor center and amphitheater.

Beautiful area. Close proximity to restrooms and water. Easy to get to from freeway....especially if you like curves.

Great place, just make sure everyone is your vehicle likes mountain driving, quiet and road. Camp host was fantastic, very friendly, we broke a window during a snowstorm and he provided heavy duty plastic bags

The campsite I reserved online was not suitable for our tents. Luckily there were a few others open. It would be nice if C loop were open earlier in the season, since all those sites are tent friendly. Otherwise, the National Monument didnt disappoint, even with the overnight snow. The camp host was very helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. Ill be back.

I cant recommend Saddlehorn Campground enough. When I stayed there, they had a tent-only section, which made it incredibly peaceful and quietespecially being away from the RV areas. The views were fantastic, and the location is super convenient, just a short drive from both Grand Junction and Fruita.The bathrooms were clean, and there was even a utility sink available, which was a nice bonus. Overall, its a great place to stay if youre looking for a peaceful, well-kept campground with easy access to nearby towns.

We had an awesome trip to the Monument. The camp site was clean and quiet and had amazing views of fruita and the surrounding mountains. We loved listening to the pinion jays call in the morning. Also, the devils kitchen hike was just the right length for our kiddo.

This campground was a great find- truly a "hidden gem" according to others we talked to (maybe less "hidden" after this review.) The sites were well maintained as were the restrooms and the other campers were respectful of quiet hours in the evenings. We also had a great time talking with the very friendly and informative park ranger (Jerry or Terry?)One note- if your're planning on going do look at the reviews of the individual sites. This helped me to avoid #27, which is quite small and right near the restrooms. Also, many of the sites are quite close together, so keep that in mind.

Terrific camping site. However, going during the first week of April and tenting, I froze. I do not recommend it.Also, there was a couple with two dogs. The dogs didn't bark all the time, but if you wanted to sleep late, they would bark and wake you up; like a couple of furry roosters. I could tell that the couple was trying to keep them quiet, and they eventually put shock collars on, but the whining from the dogs was just as aggravating. Camp warden was gone during this time--his days off for the week. So the low rating for my camping experience has nothing to do with the camp facilities. It was due to a poor choice for time of year and irresponsible dog owners.

Great campground. The outer spots have incredible views of the monument and all of them have decent privacy and tree coverage.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms, some shaded spots, but not many that are level.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
