The campground is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are clean and there is potable water at some sites. Camp host was friendly and helpful. The only problem is that there isn't much shade and in the summer, the sun was brutal. I would not stay there more than a night.

great experience. I've visited here in the past, but it's been a while. Not very crowded, in fact I saw more cyclists than autos. Views that will take your breath away. And so close to Grand Junction. I really need to visit here more often. And as an added bonus- the Restrooms were the nicest I've ever seen in a public park. I met a family from the Netherlands and the first thing they mentioned was the lack of people and then the clean & well kept facilities. "World famous restrooms"

It was smoky when we were there, several forest fires burning and visibility was poor. But the campground is beautiful, with what would normally have been great views. Saddlehorn Campground provided refuge for us when we needed it but we would love to return and enjoy what it provides when the air is clear to enjoy the far vistas.

The campground was in immaculate shape. The bathrooms, the campsites were maintained in good working condition. Loved the large tent platform, and especially how level it was.

Great location that is very close to the visitor center and nice hikes!

The campsites are a little too close together, but they are nestled beautifully among the junipers. Some of the best views in Colorado can be seen from many campsites, or are a short walk away from others. The historic bathroom facilities are immaculate and smell like a pine forest. Thank you, John Otto, and the folks at the NPS who make this possible.

Most amazing stay on our roadtrip from York, PA to Logan, UT via Denver, CO. My kids and I all want to plan another trip just to come back to stay here.

Awesome campground/site (B47) with views. Site was private and had plenty of space to park 2 vehicles. Restrooms were very clean. Easy walk from campsite to Book Cliffs View.

Great location to visit Zion, Bryce and even Capital Reef NP. We loved the little town of Panguitch. The camp host Leah was so friendly and accommodating. She gave us a great tip to also visit a National Monument close by; Ceder Breaks.

The campsite was very large and had some trees for shade. The short hikes were easy and had great views. The campground was clean and well spaced out. The Visitors Center was informative, sold lots of fun items, and the staff were helpful.

We loved this campsite! We had a spot along the ridge with a great sunset view.

Campground was very clean and well maintained. Gorgeous views abound! Entire incredible monument easily accessible! Otherworldly sunsets!The only things that dampened my experience were 1.Heat- which is unavoidable. There is small amounts of shade, but prepare yourself for the afternoon heat in summer. 2. Blocked views- I had a campsite (40) facing the rim but on the inner side and my view to the overlook was blocked by an RV in the site across (39). 3. Crowded- low privacy sites- could hear other groups playing instruments and singing at early hours, and easily hear other campsites conversations. Oh, and a tip- the ground is HARD, so bring strong tent stakes or sand bags.

Clean and superbly maintained. Sites are level. Road to campground well marked and maintained. The vistas are breath taking.

It was too hot with too little shade. And our campsite was the only one around us WITHOUT a charcoal grill. We left after the 1st night instead of staying the weekend. disappointing considering how tough it is to secure a site there. That would be my 2nd issue. The lack of availability is ridiculous.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
