Some showers were broken. We couldnt have fire due to restrictions. Water spigot was hard to find. I probably would not go back.

Great location near Emerald Bay, campsites were nice, but a little close together

Nice campground. Flush toilets and pay showers throughout campground. Alot of trees for shade and hammocks.

The campsites are large and ours was quite private. The bathrooms were mixed in terms of cleanliness, which is the reason I am rating a 4 rather than a 5. Lots of families and groups, but it was quiet at night. We had a great trip, enjoyed a couple short hikes.

The campground was spacious and clean. The yurt had lights and clean beds. Definitely a great experience for our first yurt. The campground was right next to the bathrooms so it was convenient. Everyone was respectful, and the noise level was quiet at night. Had a great time with the family.

Beautiful campground. Clean bathrooms. Amazing, peaceful lake for swimming, paddling, paddleboarding. Try to snag a campsite near the lake (near campground entrance) if you can, because it is a 15 min+ walk to the lake if you are in the far end of the campground, and there is no parking near the lake unless you want to pay $12. This is a VERY bear-conscious campground, so if your whole party isn't willing or able to follow the strict storage rules, you should probably camp somewhere else.

Excellent campground.Big spots with lots of space for tents, clean toilets, clean bear boxes.Nicely surrounded with trees, fallen leaf lake 5 minute from camp slot.Really liked the place.

Look no further for your Lake Tahoe camping adventure! Fallen Leaf Lake has it all in one beautiful outdoor recreation area! Swimming, boating, horseback riding, hiking, and just outdoor relaxation at its best.There isnt a bad campsite in the whole campground. Showers & restrooms are conveniently located throughout the campground. There is also a on-site store!! The staff are friendly & very helpful with suggestions & questions.Weve been camping at Fallen Leaf for decades. There are a lot of camping opportunities in the Tahoe area, but we always return to Fallen Leaf Campground a couple times each summer! It is really heavenly!

Amazing campground, as always. I would suggest that some sconces (light covers) be installed at the shower buildings because the light pollution into surrounding campsites is pretty annoying. Theres no need for such indirect & bright lights throughout the night. Other than that, great facilities, amenities and sites. Bears, as always.

The campground, camp staff, and lake are all so beautiful and fantastic. Unfortunately, at the risk of sounding like I'm 80 years old, Fallen Leaf Lake is not where you want to go if you want to camp peacefully with people who understand camping etiquette. From loud generators, to parties at midnight, to people walking through our campsite, it's apparent that the Fallen Leaf Camping scene is not my scene any longer. The lake was wildly crowded with people crowding the shore making it hard to launch my paddle board without running the risk of knocking over someone's unsupervised child. If a raucous, family camp is your scene, you will truly love this place. The hosts are lovely, the camp store has a good level of supplies, the showers are a godsend after a long day on the lake. As for me, I'll be seeking quieter pastures for my next adventure.

Surprisingly lovely camping experience! Staff were so helpful and friendly and campers are respectful by maintaining quiet hours and not destroying the bathrooms or showers! Will definitely be coming back to fallen leaf!

Our campsite was beautiful and spacious. It was walking distance to Fallen Leaf Lake and a short drive to Lake Tahoe. There were several nice hikes within walking distance. The bathrooms and showers were convenient, as were bathroom tokens, ice, and firewood. Sadly the bathrooms were filthy during out 6 night stay. The toilets were very obviously not cleaned one time during out 6 night stay which was very gross.

Great location, the site close to the Fallen Leaf Lake, walking distance to the beach. Bathrooms with showers, do not look very new but are reasonably clean. Our site was spacious, the neighbors at reasonable distance, people are quiet, but bears are visiting regularly, need to keep food hidden at all times.

Staff is always friendly and check-in is always a breeze. Super clean campground and very family friendly with kids on bikes and people walking dogs. We stayed at site 79 and had to only slightly level one side of our RV. Folks, please adhere to 5mph speed limit for both people and wildlife. It's a campground so leave your rush and hurries back in the city and enjoy a slower pace.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
