Great location. Clean, well run campground. I only with there was not an additional charge for using the dump station.

I really want to give this a bad review because I don't want it to get too popular! It was truly a beautiful place to stay. Large clean campsites, a crystal clear lake with good trails to hike around, and lots of good sticks for our pup to retrieve. Great facilities and really top-shelf host staff. Oh, and a local cinnamon bear momma with three cubs!

We had such a nice time at Fallen Leaf Lake. Our campsite (#73) was great for our 36 ft Fifth Wheel. It was a large campsite with a good amount of shade. The bathrooms were close and we had a spigot next to our campsite. There were 2 bears walking around, so we just kept our distance. The lake is a short walk from this campsite. It is a great lake for kayaks and paddle boards. There are also lots of hikes near Fallen Leaf Lake. Can't wait to go back!

Overall good time. We had to work with our campsite a little bit to level out the table. Would rather use credit cards to pay for showers than buy tokens. I have tokens left now that ill probably never use.

Great big campground nestled between fallen leaf lake and south end of Lake Tahoe. We stayed for 2 nights but we wanted to stay longer. Staff was super nice and helpful and facilities were clean. We had access to both lakes but fallen leaf lake was closer and big enough. Town 2+ miles away.

We loved this campground. It is very clean, quiet (except for RVs) and family friendly. We spent our days riding our bikes, relaxing at the lake and playing in the creek. I have 3 kids under 9 years old and I felt safe at every moment. The chipmunks are cute and aggressive so keep your stuff locked up in the bear boxes per the staffs recommendations. We had a very lovely private feeling campsite that was shady most of the day. The table is in the sun at dinner time but we put up an easy up with a tarp on the sunny side so we had privacy and shade all of the time. The staff is pleasant and helpful. We rode our bikes to Pope beach so we didn't have to pay parking fees. It was lovely.

Fallen Leaf CG is one of the most beautiful in our state and managed very well. Wish I could have stayed longer!
