The biggest negative about this campground is that it is always smokey from campfires. We've stayed dozens of times and the smoke is always present. If you can find something on the permitter, you will be better off. Also, the concessionaire is overly strict about rules. On one of our visits this past summer, they wouldn't allow our grandson to drive in and drop us off at our site (without paying the extra vehicle fee). So my husband with a heart condition had to walk the half mile to our site.

Beautiful, clean campground. Lake ,hikes, and surrounding area was well kept. We had so much fun.

Friendly staff upon entering campground. We ran into a bear that swiped our peanut butter as we had the bear box open to make dinner. Otherwise, great spot! My boyfriend ended up having a fever in the middle of the night, so we packed up and left a night earlier, and they even refunded us! Which was a pleasant surprise.
