Great site. Was able to book last minute. Close to shuttle and the creek is directly across which was nice to get in after a long day hike,but remember to respect other campers sites/area. Restrooms are clean.

No shade at all, only campsite in the whole place from 8am to 5pm is pure sun, this place should be illegal to rent unless they add shade

This campsite was great- right by the river for easy access, close to the trails and roads, easy to find, and quiet compared to some of the other areas. The only downside was the light is always on at the kiosk nearby so it wasnt as dark as I would have liked for sleeping.

This is a smaller campsite, so be aware that your tent will be quite close to the neighboring site. The restroom is directly in front of #33, which makes it very convenient. There are definitely people walking by throughout the evening to use the bathroom, but it wasnt too disruptive, things started to quiet down after midnight. Overall, its a decent spot if you dont mind being near the restroom and a little less privacy.

Beautiful campground. Camp 023 is cental and very flat.

Over all a great stay. Super nice rangers working the booth. Please note that if you stay at site 2. People walking along the trail will cross across your campsite to use the bathrooms.

I have stayed in Lower Pines multiple times, and it never disappoints. We were able to pick up sites, using alerts, but had to move every night. Site 045 was nice and near the river. Site 025 was not my favorite. Next to the bathroom, with little separation and tree cover. But, Yosemite. Easy walk/bike ride to Curry Village.

Campground hosts were super friendly and helpful. Site was across the street from the river, which was great. Site itself was just okay. Long enough for my 23 Class C RV with bike rack. Table and fire ring were behind the RV. It was a weird placement. Grass and eeeds were really tall on the site. As such, didnt hang out at the site. Took our dinner down by the river and ate on a log - it was fantastic!

Great Place, only short walk to the Dome, and meadow for night time star watching. Toiletrooms are Oke. But they are very basic. Not even a place to put a hairbrush. Showers are at walking distance at curry village. The rangers where terrific!!

This review is for campsite#70; which is more suitable for RVs than tents due to limited usable space and overgrown vegetation. We struggled to set up our 10-person tent due to lack of usable space. Restrooms are close by. This particular campsite lacks shade; very unusual for Lower Pines, becoming extremely hot from 9 AM until sunset, particularly in summer months of July and August. A canopy tent is recommended for shade. This may be ideal for satellite internet such as Starlink and satellite TV. On a brighter side, the Merced river is nearby which is awesome for picnicking, river floats and cooling off in the water especially for the kids as this part of the river is not too deep.

We were really satisfied by the campground and the amenities.

I LOVED this camp ground! We had to play musical campsites because its impossible to book anything unless there is a cancellation. Thankfully, we got one night at this amazing campground and even better campsite (38). Full unobstructed view of half dome, the river running by, and plenty of space and privacy. Fantastic. The following two nights we were at Upper pines (also different sites each night) and I definitely prefer Lower to Upper as its less crowded. Shuttle is close by, lots of great hikes also close by.

Great campsite next to the river.

Nice wide open spot for multiple tents. Not much shade in early day. Definitely could fit a large family but recommend easy up. Next to water access. Next to amphitheater.

Wonderful little spot that seems like it doesn't have a lot of shade but has plenty of it. During the morning/early afternoon hours there's less shade but we were out hiking so when we came back at around 3/4 there was plenty of shade. This campsite is also fairly close to the dumpster and restrooms. I'd recommend bringing your own hand pump soap to easily wash your hands in the restroom.

This is a stunning location with easy access to the main attractions in the park either via hiking or the shuttle. The sites are big enough to not feel on top of your neighbors and the hosts are very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dont forget to bring hand soap and hand sanitizer, as the bathrooms do not have any.

Great campground with beautiful views and easy access to river, trails, and much more. We will definitely be back!

Lower Pines DBL3 was better than expected. Some people complain about the proximity to the road and curry village, but it didn't bother me at all. The pines themselves are tall and lovely and the vegetation is lush enough to which you feel really secluded. I loved Lower Pines and how easy the access was to the river. The campground was overall very respectful and quiet, with the occasional hiker or two cutting through the campsite simply to get back to the road. I like how DBL3 was well shaded, and allowed for sleeping in later before the sun would hit. The restrooms were close and had filtered water for drinking, the volunteers were super helpful and jovial, and the overall vibe is rad. Such a special place.

Stayed at site 55 with a 2 person and and 3 person tent. I had been planning to set up on the parking pad because the description said there was no room for a tent at the site, but that was not the case. There were clearly used spots away from the firepit to set up tents. Being right next to the garbage cans means that people walk through your parking pad to get to them, but it was not really a big deal as it mostly stopped overnight. A lot of the sites nearby had grass growing right up to the firepit that seemed like a pretty big fire hazard. I clipped a bunch away from ours, but I'm sure it'll grow back. Seems like a bit of landscape maintenance on the firepits would be welcome.

Site 31 was excellent! Close to restroom, but not too close. On the end of the row, with two picnic tables and two trees perfect for a hammock. The campground was quiet, yet close to a tram stop, so we were able to get to Curry Village quickly for showers and take the tram to the Ahwahnee for dinner. Very nice when you are tired from hiking and enjoying Yosemite's scenery! Bears did come through, but the rangers were on it and gently herded them along with sound and lights. We will definitely try for this spot again!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
