Loved the whole time we were there. Great hikes around Mirror Lake, Columbia Rock, Panorama Trail, and Bridal Veil Fall. Drinks on the patio at the Ahwahnee. What was not so convenient were the long lines at both the Curry general store and the Village Store. Not sure if that's a shortage of cashiers or checkout stands. But that was a minor blip in an otherwise near perfect week.

Wonderful campground! The availability of drinking water was an unexpected bonus.

Not the first time visiting Yosemite but first time camping at Yosemite. Well it was beyond awesome! Not worrying about returning home on same day allow us to casually walk around whole valley without any stress. Site is perfectly situated and can visit most popular sites by walking, biking, and taking free bus rides. We loved it and highly recommend.

The light in the nearest rest room to us was out. This made it difficult to use the facility. Beautiful location with a view of Half Dome. Convenient to shuttle bus system. The campground was quiet.Close to the Happy Isles trailhead visa the shuttle bus. The Mist Trail was an unforgettable experience.

Dirty restrooms (partially out of service), sinks looked like they had not been cleaned for weeks. No showers. No shade in many sites. But worst of all was the smoke from the campfires, that massively reduced air quality in the whole valley and lingered in there for the whole next day until the next fires were lit. It seemed like there was fog in the valley the next day,but acually it was the lingering smoke from the campfires. This is not only ruining the camping experience, but also the beauty of this gem of nature for everybod visiting. I'm pretty sure this is even at a point where staying there for several days is a threat to your health, like smoking 1+ packs of cigaretts a day. (Not to mention that all our stuff smelled really bad of smoke for the rest of our trip. Needed to wash all clothes)Campfires should be strictly regulated or even forbidden to keep yosemite valley a clean and enjoyable place. My worst US camping experience so far, even though the valley is a beautiful place.

There should be a better system for registering after hours.

I somehow managed to book two nights at two different lower pines sites. I feel like the booking for these campsites isn't very fair. It was extremely hard to secure these and its easier for giant families with 10 computers ready to spam the website. I think a lottery system would be much more fair. Overall the campsites were very clean and the location is hard to beat. I did not like the crowds and noise at night though. The site was also not very tamed with it being mostly overgrown.

Campgrounds are relaxed and have a chill environment, perfect for the surroundings of Yosemite.

Overall a great experience. Saw a lot of sites, also had a wilderness pass for 3 nights in Yosemite Valley and hiked Half Dome. Only bad point which is uncontrollable was the smoke.
