Is a good campground with clean restrooms and potable water, good spaces to camp.

Camp 4 was a special experience, sharing my food with my site mates and building a fire together, the campers are all observant and quiet, so it was actually a chill camp even though there were so many people. And you can't beat $10 a night in the most beautiful valley in California, and maybe the whole continent!

Great rangers that were very helpful. Facilities were good and campers were friendly and conscientious.

No showers. No vacancy and fully reserved while there was still lots of places on the campground! Less than 6 person per zone as it is apparently the rule, but still no places available anymore for reservation. No flexibility nor back up solution proposed by the ranger in such cases for the people looking for a place. Check in useless. Otherwise campground well maintained and at proximity of the trails and commodoties

Great campground! Stayed here for four nights. New neighbors every day. Friendly people. Bathrooms, potable water, and bear lockers for food storage. Loved how the campground was located in Yosemite Valley. We took an extra day to drive up to Clouds Rest & Tenaya Lake. Highly recommend it if you have the time.

Camp 4 is awesome! It's close to Yosemite Lodge, and literally a short walk to the trailheads for Yosemite falls. It's the only campsite in the valley you don't have to book a year in advance since you can only book it a week in advance. Each campsite has a 6 person limit so if you have less than 6 in your group you will have to share the site. They are big enough so you don't feel crowded. We had 8 people in our site but I think it's because half the sites were closed for some reason. You get a bear locker (1 for every 2 people) that is really big so you can store your cooler and any food easily. There were 4 in our group so we got two but only needed one. There are fire pits and picnic tables. There are bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks with tap water. The only thing lacking is there are no showers. You can walk over to Yosemite lodge and pay $5.75 daily to use the swimming pool showers which have shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash. The price includes all day use of the pool too. The hike to upper Yosemite Falls is challenging but well worth it. I also recommend the hikes to Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls. If you have bikes bring them. There are many bike trails and roads that are closed to public autos you can ride on. They also have bike rentals if you don't or can't bring your own. I would go to Tunnel View at night to look at the stars. I recommend going to Glacier Point. You get a view of the whole valley that is spectacular.

Great value for a night under the stars! Close to the cafeteria and restaurant and amazing hikes.

The park ranger was very helpful and got my big group sites next to each other.

Beautiful area! The camp itself is quite full and packed but its in the middle of breathtaking beauty! Its super located! There are no showers and the toilets really could be cleaner but since it was so well located we were fine with whatever!

Always a blast to wake up in the valley. Really sad to see the west part of the camp closed due to the budget cutting. Hope you guys will stay brave, thank you for your services!

Camping under the stars in such a magnificent national park was truly a special experience.The price was also very affordable, which made it even better.However, its a bit ironic that the campground is located right next to a road there was quite a bit of light and noise pollution at night.Another downside was the lack of enforcement of quiet hours.Even after midnight, some people were talking loudly, and no rangers came by to manage the situation.

This was one of the best experiences ever! I met many interesting people and the proximity to everything in the park/public transport can't be beat. Highly recommended for solo travelers (solo woman myself). Note: the showers were not currently available, but you can use the showers in Curry Village if needed.

They made the parking lot available for day use. I couldnt find a parking spot and set up camp until after 5pm. The bathrooms were also horrendous. Highly disappointed in this site considering the location and hype around it. Do better.

Camp 4 was a great experience for my family of 5. We were there Sunday-Wednesday. Bathrooms were wrecked Sunday but cleaned the rest of the time.

Nice campgrounds but no privacy and camping spots were very close to eachother. There were no showers available & bathrooms were gross when we got there but during the 2 night stay they got cleaned. Picnic table and fire pit with grill were available. Beautiful views of halfdome and El Capitan. Would came here again

Excellent campsite! It is close to trails, and the shuttle station is across the street. There was no shower but we were able to use showers in Curry Village. The ranger who checked us in was awesome and helpful.

My favorite campground! It was surreal to wake up in Yosemite Valley, and to be in such a historic and renowned place for rock climbing. I cannot wait to visit again!Tips for campers:- When you arrive, theres a kiosk to check-in. After hours, your assigned site and bear box will be listed on the kiosk window.- Only one side of the campground appeared to be open during our stay. There was a building with a water closet for potable water, two restrooms with stalls and sinks, a single stall restroom, and a water fountain.- Bring earplugs and eye masks. We were assigned the site right beside the restroom, so there was a lot of foot traffic and head lamps late into the night. Many people were talking at full volume, some playing music even, around midnight and later. - Please please please be considerate of others when using the facilities. This is a shared space and we all have a responsibility to keep it clean. The first night of our stay, the restrooms and water closet were all clean and functional. By the next night and following day, the restroom was littered with toilet paper and trash, someone had clogged a restroom sink, the water closet sink was clogged and needed to be closed for maintenance (the nearest potable water option during that time was in Yosemite Village and nearby campgrounds), and the single stall restroom (the only option if you needed a changing room, unless you used a restroom stall) was locked, presumably because it also needed maintenance. All of this within the span of 24 hours. The parks are facing severe budget cuts amidst increasing visitation, and staff is being stretched extremely thin - we all as visitors need to do at least the bare minimum and clean up after ourselves. Be considerate when using water sources, theres only a limited number for everyone to share. Take your trash and recycling to the provided bins. Leave places better than you found them.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
