Just wish there were showers in each campground and rolling window reservations.

Great spot right hr next to Merced river. Kids had a blast.

We were lucky to have perfect weather. Our Lower Pines site #39 was right on the river so we were able to launch our raft directly from our site. The rafting on the Merced River was awesome and we made 3 trips in 3 days (about two hours of blissful floating, no whitewater). The site is also an easy shuttle trip to the start of the Mist trail and the Four Mile Trail (up to Glacier Point). Lower Pines is my favorite area for it's great access to the river, the valley and Curry Village.

nice campground, quiet, nice views of wildlife, clean restrooms, nice trails and shuttle service within easy walking distance

Nice camp spot, flat ground, on the curve of the driving loop - so well spaced from others, and next to the river. The river is not accessible at this time though, as there are signs up about protecting the area from foot traffic. There is a flat spot between three trees that we pitched our large tent in, which was very nice, as most of the rest of this spot is full sun. I would go to this one again.

Very clean and level site. Bathrooms were well maintained and clean in spite of rainy weather. Best of all: Wow What a VIEW!!! Its a glorious place :)

We all loved the experience very lovely experience , just one time one of the rangers young lady came to our campsite a little aggressive about the whole food issue safety with wild Animals , it was about 930 am while a young lady ranger came and asked to put my coffee container away I was in my tent putting my baby a sweater . And I left the container out . By the way it was the only thing out along with container with out table utensils but she called it toilettree bag . I politely understand the rules but she aggressively said to put away even though I literally had taken it out like 2 min before . I told her yes Ill put it away and I continued putting the sweater on And then thats when she said aggressively to put it away . I went to put it away and then I took it out as soon as she walked away , umm its early morning and doesnt she know peoppenmake coffee ? I seriously was so confused about it it was closed in a container its not like i had it in the open air and it was coffee yes theres a smell , but its not like the campsite was abandoned there was ppl there and I was outside it didnt make any sense whatsoever i carried on and make my coffee :) please train your staff to talk to customers . We totally understand and rules and obey then jsut I think it was over the top . Thank you !
