We came here during the full moon and the views were incredible. Overall, we loved our stay and felt so grateful to snag this spot. The only downside is the fire pit faces a neighboring site that's already quite close. Would happily stay here again though!

great location and with the improvements it is getting better; better access to phone service makes it easier to stay close to family and even the office

Beautiful location right in the park. So convenient to trails and the Village. Very nice host and rangers.

We booked last minute and surprised we were able to get a spot for a great price. We arrived after closing. Finding out spot was easy. Camp host was very nice. Come to find out hes been the camp host for 22 yrs! Nice area to set up tent and beautiful views. Bear proof containers were large enough for all our toiletries and our food. Was close to a bus stop if you needed. Didnt like that there were no showers and nowhere to do dishes.

Great location. Central to everything. A bit crowded. Campsite is not that large especially in the inner circle.

Ranger John who checked us in July 1st was great, as was the campground host Jack. We enjoyed some tasty cheeseburgers and fries at the Camp Curry Meadow Grill before we set up our tent at Lower Pines #17. Nice campsite with shade for the tent and close to the restrooms. Yosemite Falls had lots of water gushing down from the high cliff.

It was too bad the Visitor Center was closed and the buses were not running else our visit rating would have been 5 stars. We left the Valley on Friday and stopped at Tunnel View, then drove up to Glacier Point for the majestic views of Half Dome and the valley below. Vernal & Nevada Falls looked spectacular.

Then we stopped at the Wawona History Center and were entertained by Buckshot, the only stage coach driver park ranger in California.

After hour check in and out camp site was taken by an Indian man and his disabled daughter whom had already set up camp. We were left to park our van in a tiny corner for the night. Not surprisingly the Indian man and his family were gone by 7am the following morning. Overall a good experience. Ranger Eric was helpful on our second night but was MIA on the first night. Beautiful spot, would stay again
