This was a great campsite next to the Merced River, close to the bathrooms and close to the trail over to Curry Village. We spent seven days there in the valley and it was a perfect central location.

Amazing camping trip. Our site was right by the water, absolutely beautiful views. My only critique was that there were signs saying the river was closed to boats, but a ranger clarified that is was actually open, but the signs were still up because of under-staffing. Nevertheless, we got on the river and had an amazing float.

I received an e mail two days before were were to spend two days at this campground. They left us with no place to go on Memorial Day Weekend. All my life I wanted to go to Lake Tahoe... We ended up at Granite Flat which barely has the space to pull in. No hookups. $19 for a one night stay. I have already cancelled tomorrow. We exit our RV into the road since we are too afraid to put our slide out there. Horrible experiences.

Site #60Probably the best camping site I've ever had (Lake George is a close second now). We had amazing views, right by the stream, fewer neighbors than most sites, and the ground was level. Provided the perfect launching point to explore the valley.

The campsite was great, right next to the river and bathroom. First time Ive had a bear box at my campsite, and gave me great peace of mind. Could walk to the Mist trail and other hikes and the Curry Village shops. Bathrooms were well kept, trash was also well managed. Workers/rangers were friendly and helpful. We had neighbors and everyone was great, no problems keeping distance. Just wish I had a couple more clear days with blue sky! Lovely campground all around.
