Lower pines was our favorite campsite we stayed at during our week long trip to Yosemite. Beautiful view of the mountains right at our sight. Beautiful star gazing and trees. Very clean bathroom facilities and comfortable amount of space between each campsite! Snag Lower Pines for as many nights as you can!

Great spot. Close to bathrooms. The parking spots can pool water so they can get very muddy.

This is a huge site in possibly the nicest campground in the world. Lower Pines is my favorite of the three Pines campgrounds (although Upper and North are lovely as well), and even though this site is right next to the entrance, it is beautiful. Very flat and shaded with great trees for hammocks, plenty of room for bikes and inner tubes, etc. My only minor complaint is that the nearest bathroom was never very clean, probably because it it closest to the entrance and most used. I usually just walked another 50 yards to the next bathroom.

Campsite was great! Stayed at two different plots, both of which were spacious and weren’t right up against another site. Lower pines has a river that runs along the back of the campsite, which is great to cool off in. The campsites proximity to curry village and the half dome hike can’t be beat.
