Campgrounds were nice and had plenty of space. I do wish there was more of a designated tent area; one of our neighbors encroached in our area. The showers were also ice cold.

Double campsite was very nice. Plenty of room for large groups. Plenty of shade for comfort and a couple of hammocks. My only recommendation is earplugs for sleeping. Main road can generate loud noise from traffic since it's very close to site. Yes, even at night!

Our fourth or fifth visit to Serrano. Always clean and well-maintained. Nice to have a great bike path, lakeshore access and a convenience store all close at hand.

We stayed a Friday and Saturday night. Friday night our neighboring site was very loud till almost 2 in the morning and nothing was done. Several other campers called into complain but they partied the next night as well which dampened the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at the campground. We had a great spot site 99 which was shaded by tall pine trees and close to the restrooms and showers. Our campsite was clean and well-prepared when we arrived. We also appreciated the metal storage box for kitchen supplies very convenient! Overall, we loved everything about our stay.

The trash can is too far from the campsite , which is inconvenient.

Great campground and staff. Unfortunately the hypocrisy of 1 campground host giving us a hard time about tires touching the dirt, I only give it 4 stars. While his golf cart tires are all sitting in the dirt and one of their service trucks has all 4 tires in the dirts in it's parking spot, he lectures us about being kicked out of the campground because one tire from our vehicle is in the dirt. I don't disagree with the rules, but I don't understand why it's okay for staff to not have to follow the same rules?? Only other suggestion is the fire pits need to be cleaned out. They are more than 1/2 full with ash.

This was a great spot, right across the street from the lake and up the street from a little general market. Has great shade as well and ample space for 2 tents

We love this campsite! Spacious, peaceful and well maintained! I also love that it is beside the alpine pedal trail as well as hiking trails.

Great , quiet, clean park! The spaces are a bit tight for an RV but adequate. Roads could be improved by smoothing out the major cracks.

Campsite was well maintained and the bathrooms were easily accessible and clean. Our campsite (087) was walking distance to a great trail and a few minutes walk to the lake. Camp hosts were awesome, will definitely be back!

We've been camping with friends at this campground for years. We love it. Wonderful to be in the pines. I do however knock off one star for the fact they charged us $16 for my wifes car because weren't towing. I dont see the difference since its still one vehicle. Sounds like nickle and diming to me. We've never been charged in the past but I understand the county now has a 3rd party vendor handling the gate duties.

@BranJen - Santa Clara, CA

I wanted to thank you for this site and especially for the notifications feature. Thanks to your site and my subscription I was able to book a campsite I've been annoyingly trying to book for 5 years unsuccessfully. So thank you.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
