Nice campground, restrooms were clean and there is a path to the road so you cross over to the lake.

This was our second time at Serrano and it was beautiful just like the time before. We loved our site and although I would try for an electric site next time we had zero complaints. Cant wait to come back next year when they reopen :)

Great location well kept spaces.Drive into town was about a 15 minute and less than 10 min to the nearest grocery store. Had no issue with internet/phone connection.

Awesome, clean campsite just like everyone says! Night 1 we stayed at Site 28, which was epic. Night 2 a large family with four cars pulled in next to us, and unfortunately Site 28 doesnt offer much privacy between sites. We asked to switch and our host was so lovely and helpful, shoutout to her! We moved to Site 12, which was also a great pick: very private and pretty big. The big downside is that its close to the highway, so cars are pretty visible. November camping is very cold, but come prepared and its not an issue. Go eat at Grizzly Manor Cafe! Drive safe and let locals pass.

The Rangers were amazing! So helpful and kind. The area we had was perfect for 2 tents but there was room for more (if you dont mind a slight slope). It snowed overnight, which was amazing (and COLD). Everything was driving or walking distance if you needed.

I wanted to stay 1 extra day but they told me know because weekends have to be 2 nights even though campground was almost empty and my spot was available, so we left and they lost money

Great campground. The host did a great job of keeping the campsites and restroom clean and even have hot showers.

Our family just stayed at Serrano for the first time and we loved it. The campsites were spread out enough to feel like you werent on top of each other. There was plenty of space in the campground undeveloped to explore. The campground was booked but the vibe was quiet. Everyone there was courteous, quiet and just enjoying the mountains. The campground runs alongside a well maintained paved trail, perfect for bike rides. The trail takes you to Cougar Crest trailhead & Big Bear Discovery Center. You can also cross N Shore Ln to access the lake, just a 5 minute walk from the campground. We loved it there and plan to return!

This is the first campground I've ever stayed in where you have to pay to use the dump station. The sites for no hook ups were above market rate already. In addition, the showers were the worst I've ever used in my forty years of camping. having to push the button in every 15 seconds is a huge inconvenience.
@JohnN4346623 · Camped on Nov 4, 2025 at Campsite #51
This is a gem of a campsite close to Big Bear Lake and the town of BB. Offers both dry and full RV hook ups, sites were very clean, firewood is available at the entrance, camp host Thomas was very helpful and a great guy. We are absolutely going back!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
