It was a quiet midweek stay in October, the weather was cool but as pleasant as you could ask for. The park staff was helpful and accommodating to our needs.

Our time at Serrano Campground was overall good. The only reason I deducted 1 star was because we had an electrical issue with our electrical pedestal. For some unknown reason my rig was getting a low voltage alarm and my surge suppressor would shut off power to my rig to protect my system. I told the camp host about this and he said he would have an electrician investigate the issue at a later date. It only shut the power off a couple of times so it didn't affect our trip much. Camp host was friendly. Road noise near the campsite was more noisy than I expected. Next time I will choose a different site location.

Well maintained park with friendly staff. I felt safe here and enjoyed my stay. The only complaint is the difficulty of backing into some sites. There are large rocks you have to maneuver around that could be moved a foot or two so it would be easier to back in.

We stayed at Campsite #96 in Serrano Campground, surrounded by lots of beautiful pine trees. The morning sunlight wasnt too strong because of the shade, which was really nice.It was our first time camping, so we didnt realize how cold it could get in mid-October we definitely didnt bring enough warm clothes and almost froze at night! The campground itself was great very convenient, with restrooms and water access just a short walk away. At night, the sky was full of stars, which was amazing to see. During the day, we drove to the nearby town filled with autumn colors, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was such a memorable trip.Wed love to come back again in May, when the weather is warmer that would make it perfect!

We stayed in the full service site. The campground is well run and lovely. There is a 5 mile paved path and a fabulous trail called Cougar Crest that goes up a canyon. Beautiful.

have camped at Serrano 5 times now and we really enjoy the campground. Camp Hosts are always available if you need any help. Love the bike/ walking path. Bathrooms have been clean when weve been there (although we stay in our 5th wheel and have never used a shower there) Big Bear is a beautiful area. Have enjoyed taking our dog to the Dog Park. The Zoo in town is small can be done in a couple of hours. Have enjoyed being close to town and just sitting in my campsite playing games and looking at the beautiful scenery

Love Serrano Campground. The sites are all nice and usually the camp neighbors are friendly. Fire rings are nice and while firewood is available at the site it is expensive. It would be nice if electricity could be provided at all sites. Closeness to Big Bear City is a real plus. Will return!

We had a great time. Stayed for 2 nights spot 119 . Very clean, and quiet. The bathroom and shower were clean and easy to use . Check in was a breeze and coming in and out was no problem. Must reserve as early as possible though.

The campground was well equiped but I dont think the rules are being strictly followed and watched. It says clearly you cant have a running generator and there was front in front of us that went on all night. We saw the rounder pass by and didnt do anything. On the other hand, the campground was clean.

Serranos is a beautiful area. There are bike trails and walking trails. You can also go into Big Bear if you want and do shopping or to eat out. There is also the Discovery Center, which is neat for the kids. There is also fishing for those that are inclined.

Very nice campground in very close proximity to Big Bear Lake and cycle path. The bathrooms were close by and clean. Dumpster trash collection was also within walking distance from the campsite. Potable water and a dumpstation were available, although I didn't use either. I will plan another visit for next year.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
