Specifically reserved a spot near the bathroom. Bathrooms were closed and then the following day there was no water in the entire campground, or showers, or toilets!

Really well kept and lovely staff! Right by the lake and lots of shady spots.

Really nice staff. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Only issue was staff did not enforce the dog leash rule with some campers. Overall a great experience.

We were impressed by how clean the Camp Hosts were keeping this camp ground. They clearly take great pride in it. The spaces are huge allowing for a sense of privacy. Unfortunately, without the ability to have a fire, we turned in early as it got cold after sunset. So, pack warm clothes for tent camping.
We took the hike up Cougar Crest. Easy access from Serrano; so no need for the "Adventure Pass" otherwise required for parking at a National Forest trailhead.

The staff was friendly, the facilities spotless, and the sites were spacious with plenty of shade.

While visiting the employer was being sarcastic talking to my pup saying he better behave and stay leashed, we weren’t able to make the same day reservation for another night and had to wait for another site to be available the night before we had to not only repack but had to move to a farther location(kinda tiring when going up hill twice), the next day a plumbing pipe burst and we couldn’t shower or use the bathrooms until porta potty’s were available, we asked for a refund and we’re not able to get it due to the terms and conditions saying no refunds.

The campground was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Bike path right out of the campground. Easy walk to the lake. Trail to Cougar Crest and Bertha Peak easily accessible from the campground.
The campsites were very close to each other. No way to get away from neighboring campers or their noise. Some campsites are close to the road. Vehicles traveled by at high speeds late into the night.
