Spent 3 days at Serrano, had a great time with my wife in our class A motorhome. The camp was very clean and very quiet so much to do for every kind of camper. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was due to our site being a bit unleveled, otherwise we will definitely be returning and will encourage our friends and family to visit this campground

Serrano is a beautiful campground. We stayed in the RV hook-up Snowberry loop. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. In particular, Candie May, who was working at the check-in station, was very helpful with suggestions on how to leverage our America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime Access Pass for local recreation access and for lowest cost camping accommodations.

We love Big Bear! Always a good time at Serrano. Hosts and staff are very friendly and helpful. Clean, spacious sites. We stay in the RV loop so we’ve never used the bathrooms or showers. Great location. Great for kids. We love to hang out at camp, play frisbee, make s’mores, and make new friends. There’s a ton of fun things to do nearby too. We rode scooters down to Meadows Edge Picnic area and hung out by the lake. Hiked the Woodland trail (easy 1.5 mi loop). Visited the Big Bear Discovery Center and the Big Bear Alpine Zoo. We went glow bowling at the Bowling Barn. We haven’t ever had much luck fishing from shore. The lake has been pretty low. So, we rented a boat from Captain John’s and went fishing. Big grocery stores, small markets, Dollar Tree, pharmacies, all nearby in case you need/forget anything. Going into town for breakfast at Grizzly Manor Cafe is always a must for us on the way home. One of these days we’ll have to try horseback riding, go karts, or a round of golf. So much to do, so little time. We always wish we could stay longer. Great memories made here.

Nicely kept campground.
Sites are far enough apart for privacy.
Short walk and you are at Big Bear Lake. Great access to nearby off road trails, hiking biking and more.
