Campground was clean and well cared for. Sites are close to trees and rocks. Be sure to scope the site and pay attention to vehicle size. We loved our spot. Our biggest issues were the roads up the Mountain now that the easy route was washed out.

Lovely spot, close to lake and hiking/biking trails. Large spaces in the pine forest.

Extremely clean sites, very well maintained. Camp hosts are all very nice. Coyotes are common so it's especially good to follow safe food and trash storage practices using the bear boxes provided. Additionally, don't leave your pets by themselves outside unsupervised or in an area where you cannot see them. Especially at night. This is the wilderness after all! We see many campers leaving pets alone in small fenced off areas when we are there every time and that simply will not be any type of deterrent to a hungry coyote.Overall great camping here with great sites both full-rv hookup, group camps, and tent sites. Secluded from main big bear with low traffic and bike and boat rentals a hop skip and a jump away.

Such a beautiful campground with such a friendly and helpful staff. Since the weather was going to be in the 20's, they made sure everyone knew to disconnect hoses so they wouldn't freeze. We loved the Village and the $5 Tuesday night movies. Can't wait to return to this campground.

I loved the location and cleanliness of the campground and that the full hook-up RV sites are large, full-size campsites as opposed to so many other campgrounds where these full hook-up sites are nothing more than a parking lot space.

Extremely crowded. Very noisy. More of a party spot that a nature get away. The party patrons out weighed the resources to keep the chaos contained. Beautiful spot. If you are looking for peace, go during the week.
