I love this campground. Its my second time visiting. The campground is clean, well looked after, and pleasantly quiet with campers all around. Everyone was respectful of keeping noise level down. The toilet area was clean. Hikes were great! Campsites are very close to level.

While I am grateful that I read reviews to be prepared for the limited parking available to site A022 - I did not expect to show up to my campsite hours before quiet hours to discover that the neighbors in A021 decided to have not just their camper in the one spot available to A021 but also A022 spot as well, since the parking in those two spots alone it seems, are shared. However, our neighbors seemed to be hoping that others werent showing as well - their friends in A023 had to be kicked out prior to quiet hours by the rightful renter and their RV. The language barrier netted a very very angry foreigner and a very very firm native pacific northwesterner (me) - but it was quite the rough start and our neighbors the next night also unclear but much kinder and happy to allow us to park in our space. A022 is by far the smallest of the spaces and perhaps has a larger size tent a bit too close to the fire pit but is a perfect spot for a 4 man tent or those looking to pop up a tent on top of their SUV. Be warned, A021 and A022 seem to be the only spots in the park that the actual parking space is shared and can cause a BUNCH of confusion and hard feelings when people think the whole thing is theirs and its not.

The RV campground is cramped with no privacy between sites. There is minimal space for parking your vehicle next to your RV. It is walking distance to the hot springs, which are ok but nothing special, just pools with different temperatures of mineral water, and not really clean, kind of cloudy with lots of bugs floating around in the water. The facilities are bare bones there, no shower curtains or changing rooms, small spaces with wet floors. The restaurant is small with no atmosphere but the food tasted great after a long hike.

Great spot

The RV campground was a disappointment. It was more like a gravel parking lot and there were no washroom facilities whatsoever. At the campground itself.

RV loop is terrible. There is no restrooms. Closest 5 minutes walk to the next loop. Each site should be gravel but it has a mud instead. You basically pay for parking with hook up and nothing else.

A pleasant campground with clean facilities, but the individual campsites are quite close together (unlike other parks in the US).

Even though heavy rain, camp site was large, and open. Beautiful location

Clean campsites, quiet area, clean bathrooms, close to very nice hotsprings. Our site was slightly smaller than I am used to (loop A 34) but still (barely) fit our SUV and pop up trailer. Overall great stay and we felt lucky to get a spot there!

Been going here 50 years and dont like the timed sessions such a money grab and the extractor to remove water from you suits was removed another big disappointment t I had books of tickets I bought when they were good all day and front desk staff would not honor them I hope someone else besides Aramark takes over and brings back the true charm of this special place

The campground and facilities are well maintained. The park is beautiful. The only downside is that the park was noisy, particularly on the weekend. We also had a guy running a loud generator at the site next to us for a few hours a day. I suppose the campground cant do much about that.. Finally a fellow camper went over and asked politely for him to shut it off as it was driving us all madd.
@WayneCCA7F238B · Camped on Sep 16, 2025 at Campsite #41
I could not recommend site 41 in loop B. Its more of a picnic site, not a campsite. There was not space to set up a tent. Luckily I was able to secure another site where there was enough space to set up a tent. Dont expect to be able to have space for a tent at this site.

There should be a limit to the size of RV at " The Campground " the guy next to us pulled a 30 ft air stream into a site that hardy fit his rig and then ran 4 generators until we asked him to stop it should be a campground not an RV park

Wonderful setting amongst the big trees. The restrooms were clean everything else was what we expected. Our only note for improvement was that the camp host was only present for a few hours and not overnight. Some campers apparently weren't aware of the campfire ban and we had to remind them.

Consider SolDuc campground the ultimate camping experience! That is if you enjoy camping deep in a forest of ancient tall trees with thick, soft carpets of moss below. The hot springs pools are clean and hot, though the sulphur aroma can be a bit overwhelming. The highlight of our stay was the hike to the SolDuc falls, the falls themselves are beautiful but it was walking through that rich, quiet forest that was the real treasure.

The setting is beautiful with all the old growth trees around, The site I was in seemed to be the darkest and dankest in the campground, but I was just happy to have a site. The bathrooms were fine and relatively clean. My main complaint is that there was some human noise, loud rowdy talking, that went on well after 10pm. I kept thinking it would either burn itself out or campground host might step in, but it just kept on.

Sol Duc Campground in Olympic National park is an older large campground in a rain forest. The roads are tight, twisty, and difficult to manage with large trailers and motorhomes (tho some do manage it to my amazement). Under the very tall trees in the forest, we were unable to get solar, Starlink, or cell service. Since there are no facilities, we would spend some time in the resort area to get solar. The "RV Park" operated by Aramark is a muddy parking lot with logs separating the hookups. To reserve one of these sites, you check at the lodge registration for availability.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
