The campsite had a bunch of micro trash. The fire pit wasnt cleaned out. The fire pit at the next site hadnt been cleaned out either. Our picnic table was heavily rotted and missing big chunks in 2 places. We had an issue with our neighbor making noise til 230am when we finally told them to be quiet. Then we woke up to find that they left all kinds of food out. No camp host present to make aware of our issues

Not the nicest campground in the ONP. Many things needed some repair and attention. I would probably stay elsewhere unless I was wanting to access the trails there.

Enjoyed the location. The particular campsite I was at was #11. It has a steep loose gravel access that could be very dangerous if wet... also, the sink in the restroom was not accessible - covered up with plastic.

Stayed at Loop A Site 001: Our site was awesome! The kids were able to push through some limbs and have access to the river. There is a massive stump to climb up and play on top of. Tent area is in full shade almost all day. Bring a pop up tent and table cloth for the picnic table as it is in rough shape and full sun in the afternoon. Only downfall is the site is at the bottom of a hill. So you must carry your gear up and down the hill each day. No bear box either so stowing equipment each night was a bit of work. As for the campground, it needs some TLC. The bathroom closest to us had toilets out of order in the mens room. The family and mens bathroom sinks were also out of order so my kids went into the womens each time to wash up. The Hot Springs were nice, nothing too fancy. Beer and wine available in the shop at a fair price. DON'T buy wood from the gift shop! You can find it anywhere for $5 but the gift show at Sol Duc sells it for $10.99.

Will definitely be camping here again. The hot springs were relaxing, the falls were beautiful, and the old growth Douglas-fir and Western Hemlock left a lasting impression on me.

We had a great stay in a unique campsite that backed up to the river at Sol Duc. It was clean, quiet and a really nice place to spend a couple nights. The only down side is that the way the site was configured (site 11), it was a bit difficult to find a flat, unobstructed spot for our large-ish 8-peron tent. We managed though, and had a great time exploring the area. It is convenient to the Lodge & Hot Springs. Dinner takeout (during COVID restrictions) was easy and delicious, and the store was decently stocked with basic provisions (beverages) & supplies.

We stayed in the campground which was filled with huge moss covered trees near a stream. There was a trail leading from the camp to a gorgeous waterfall. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
