The RV campground was a disappointment. It was more like a gravel parking lot and there were no washroom facilities whatsoever. At the campground itself.

The rv section is nothing but a parking lot with electricity. There are no bathrooms, no water, and no privacy. Restrooms are available at the resort while they are open and they are a good distance away. If you wanted to use pool or showers at the resort you had to pay a fee of $18 for a 2 hour time slot plus $5 towel rental. We hiked to the falls which were beautiful and left the next day. I recommend staying in another campground. So many to choose from.

We were worried that the parking space would be very tight based on the reviews, but we had enough space and the power supply was stable. The only thing that bothered us a little was the additional fee for dumping.

Great location and clean camping. Wish there was a bathroom in the RV area.

Beautiful surroundings. Campground staff/hosts super friendly and helpful. Camp sites well maintained. Hot springs a nice relax after a day of hiking. Beware- bring own towel to hot springs … they run out of rental towels! 👍

We arrived on a Friday at 5:00 pm to find someone had taken our reserved spot. We tried going to the resort desk as the host was not on duty and they were kind, but seemed to have limited ability to help. We had to wait with 4 hungry kids and a 35 ft RV with no where to go until the person came back and we could confront them ourselves. Very awkward. And could all be avoided by simply marking the sites as reserved!! The site itself was a mud pit. We had a water hook up but could not use it because it was leaking so badly it actually formed a hole that the back tire was sinking into. We had to shut it off and re-park to get level again. Next time we will not bother with the RV court and will stay in the regular campground.

Nice campground in the forest. Hot springs were great.

Dump station was closed with no notice posted at the entrance kiosk. Hot springs didn't feel covid safe. Locker room jam packed with people at the changeovers.

The campground is well-maintained with many beautiful non-serviced sites. Serviced sites in the "RV Park" are less attractive., The camprground it operated by the company that manages the resort and its hot spring pools. Its focus seems to be on the pools and resort and not on the campers' experience. There is a need for maps and other related information regarding the campground to be made available for all campers (there are none), The lack of toilet facilities in the RV park and of a shower house for the campers anywhere is a major disincentive to staying for more than a few days (the showers at the main office is for the use of visitors to the hot spring pools) as is the lack of cellphone and internet access even at the office. Staff at the office/store had excellent customer relation skills, but had very little information regarding the campground, campers' needs, or the park and its surroundings. To management's credit, the campground is well maintained. I highly recommend the campground because of the beauty of its surroundings and the setting of many of its sites along the river. With a little attention by a management interested in the camping experience, it could be so much more.

Regarding the Sol Duc RV Resort Campground - This in the only campground weve ever left early. The campground is 100 w x 200 l or so with 17 spaces. That 100 holds two RVs facing one another with maneuvering room in between.Every time someone arrives or leaves, you hold your breath in the hopes they wont hit you (or anyone else) or destroy their equipment. The gravel hasnt been redone since ... the RV Park was installed? So it is a muddy mess half of the day.By far, this is the most disappointing camping experience weve ever had.Additionally, you cannot walk dogs on the trails between the campgrounds, so you have to walk on the main road to travel from dog walking site to dog walking site. The main road has a lot of blind curves, and people travel far above the posted speed limit. The only positive I can give is that the trash was emptied somewhat regularly.Would we go back? No.If you can live without electrical hookups, reserve Loop A or B campsites, those campgrounds are FAR more preferable. They knockout the RV CG in all aspects including beauty and serenity value.

The camp host was incredibly useless. He was hardly there and ignored people when he was there.

Basically a parking lot in the woods. We stayed at another campground instead. The non-electric sites look nice though.

Good for a spot to explore from. Saw the sites, and spent a few hours in the hot springs.
