While I am grateful that I read reviews to be prepared for the limited parking available to site A022 - I did not expect to show up to my campsite hours before quiet hours to discover that the neighbors in A021 decided to have not just their camper in the one spot available to A021 but also A022 spot as well, since the parking in those two spots alone it seems, are shared. However, our neighbors seemed to be hoping that others werent showing as well - their friends in A023 had to be kicked out prior to quiet hours by the rightful renter and their RV. The language barrier netted a very very angry foreigner and a very very firm native pacific northwesterner (me) - but it was quite the rough start and our neighbors the next night also unclear but much kinder and happy to allow us to park in our space. A022 is by far the smallest of the spaces and perhaps has a larger size tent a bit too close to the fire pit but is a perfect spot for a 4 man tent or those looking to pop up a tent on top of their SUV. Be warned, A021 and A022 seem to be the only spots in the park that the actual parking space is shared and can cause a BUNCH of confusion and hard feelings when people think the whole thing is theirs and its not.

Campsite was very small. Only one tent space. Hot springs experience was amazing. Will definitely go again.

Reserved the worst spot based on hours of pointless research-site 22 Suc-ed, but we happened to arrive when someone in a much better site(honestly any site would be better) so we were able to switch! The host was amazing! So we stayed in 11. Wouldnt recommend for people with mobility issues as the grade is steep and gravelly to the site. Sites are pretty open too but everyone was nice and friendly. We spent a lot of time hiking or hanging out by the river-which is not next to the campground like it looks to be on the map. Its a hike to the river. Some folks said they saw a black bear roll through but we never saw it directly. We did the lovers lane loop and it was wonderful.

My site 22 was not as expected. Site 21 shared a parking pad so I was nat able to park my truck w my trailer. Lucky I was able to park next to. The host.Campground was well cared for and hosts friendly. Please check the sites again and mark on rec. gov which should just be a camper and which should be truck trailer sites. This could of been a disaster . Another camper came with a trailer to use site 21. He didnt stay and went else where. They were from Colorado. My trailer is 21 and my truck 20. Please remarks sites so this does t happen. I drove 13 hrs to get there and the last 2 hrs was in down pour rain. The camp ground is very Beautiful.

Tent spots were good. Campground restrooms were clean. A beautiful spot with things to do in the area.Nearby hikes and lake, plus the hot springs make it a great destination.
