Beautiful setting and experience. We had plenty of space on our site (76) which was slightly sloped but comfortable. The only negative would be the highway noise at night.

The walk in sites are on top of each other. Campers were highly inconsiderate of their light and sound after quiet hours. Camp hosts were no where in sight to enforce these rules. Highway noise was awful. We left a night earlier than expected.

This was a beautiful campground and we had lots of space at our campsite. The restrooms were clean.

Loved our time! Spot 54 was pretty small and butts right up against walk in campers. Spot 58 was beautiful and larger than most. Weather was great- good access to the beautiful lake on several trails. Watch out for fire bans in August. Side note: I really think it Seems so lame to have bans in designated fire rings. Id be curious to see the statistics on forest fires started or exacerbated from national park campgrounds fire rings. Fire bans in dispersed camping for sure. I know not the campgrounds fault- but maybe something they can think about in the future.

Campsite was beautiful. Went with site 86, right on the water. I researched on forums ahead of time and that is definitely my top pick as long as you dont mind the walk to the site. You can walk into the water from there instead of having to take this really long path down to the docks. One of the negatives though is that the sites are all very densely packed and they are spread out across different leveled tiers, meaning there are hills between each level. Site 86 is at the very bottom - three levels down. Not ideal at all. Especially for bringing your camping gear to the site. Also we arrived in the dark and it was extremely difficult to find. There should really be a map there. There may have been up near the bathrooms but Im not sure. But mind you, the bathrooms are a fourth level up so to get there you have to climb three hills. The bigger two are paved but I have a bad knee so it was difficult. To get from site 86 to the parking lot where our spot was reserved you had to go up one really steep hill and then a smaller hill to get to it. My suggestion for a second choice after seeing it in person would be 76 as theres a bit of privacy but its not on the lake so you have a bit of a walk to get to the docks to access the water. Also there was no soap in the bathroom fyi so bring your own. But they were very clean which was good.

The sites are very small and close together so very little privacy, and some noise from other groups. Bathrooms were clean, but there is no soap at the sinks so be sure to bring your own. Otherwise, great experience, resources easy to find. Some occasional spotty cell service, and were able to drive to service nearby to keep tabs on potential campfire bans. Centrally located so that you can access all the OP has to offer from this base of operations.

I hate to say it as I dont want to campground to become overrun, but theres a reason its so difficult to book at this campground. Its absolutely gorgeous and the facilities were better than others in the ONP. I hope to be able to stay here again many summers in the future. The site itself was lovely and didnt feel cramped or stacked on top of one another.

Very nice campsite, regret amenities, and a good atmosphere. Awesome

Lovely campsite right on the shore of Lake Crescent. Yes, you can hear the traffic on 101 and the trail up to the restrooms is steep, but it's still a really nice place to camp. This walk-in site was right on the lake, which was really nice. The ground did slope a little, so we made sure to set up our tents so that our feet were pointing downhill. Beautiful view.

Sol doc falls hike was our favorite; as were the trails around the crescent lodge. Hoh rainforest was dimmed by the 2.5hr car wait followed by only 2mi of trails once you get inplan carefully!

Fairholme Campground is set in tall trees with lots or undergrowth separating campsites, on the shore of lovely Lake Crescent. The facilities (bathroom, water spigot etc) are nice and the campsite was great. Despite there being many sites in multiple loops, the campground was overall very quiet and peaceful!

The good: location was good for visiting north side of ONP, warm water in bathroom sinks was niceThe bad: bring your own toilet paper-there was some in the A loop bathroom when I arrived but it was empty that afternoon and never replenished by the time I left late the next day. Also be prepared for a walk up or down hill, and a wait when its busy: there are 90 campsites and only three bathrooms, and the one I used only had two stalls.My site didnt have this problem, but beware if you get a spot near a bathroom. The toilets have an automated pressure flush that is very loud. I felt so bad when I used the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Lovely campsite, walk-in #79, a short walk from parking. Partial view of the gorgeous lake, short walk to beach, camp store, and docks. You can hear the road noise from the highway but also plenty of birdsong. Totally worth it. Hope to return and stay longer.

Gorgeous lake facing campsite. The restrooms were sparkling clean. Our walk-in site shared a bear box with several other sites. It worked out just fine. Great little trail behind the campground. General store had all the basics.

Great location.We stayed in site 81 the Picnic table was in bad shape. Bench seat broken and proped up with wood blocks. Table top had chunks missing, really needs to be replace.

Very clean, quick and easy access to restrooms and potable water. Our site (1,A) was a short walk away from the boating zone, very big and clean! The only downside is that it was pretty noticeable inclined.

I stayed here to hike the Hurricane Ridge next day, the view was incredible and I wish I could stay longer. The parking was on a slope but luckily a kind neighbor was able to help. Lots mosquitoes as its next to lake so protect yourself properly. The facilities are clean. I highly recommend this site.

Such a beautiful campground in walking distance to the lake. Some people had issues with the proximity to the road but it didn't bother us. Whenever I return to Olympic NP, I will stay here longer!

Stayed at 21B, set up two large tents, one on designated pad, other on driveway. Plus 2 vehicles. Decent privacy, and hwy noise sometimes annoying but knew about noise prior. Restrooms clean and in great condition. Swam in Lake Cresent daily. The store there rents kayaks too. Great location to visit many of the popular areas.

Very nice campground. We had more than enough room for our 7x7 3 person tent. The sites were a little too close to each other for our liking. It felt like you could easily hear your neighbors conversations to the right and the left. The sky at night is really beautiful though, you can see so many stars!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
