we enjoyed site 53. It's close to the bathroom, water and has great views of the lake. The road noise is bad from all the sites that face the lake. But the forest and lake views are worth it

The sites are very small and close together so very little privacy, and some noise from other groups. Bathrooms were clean, but there is no soap at the sinks so be sure to bring your own. Otherwise, great experience, resources easy to find. Some occasional spotty cell service, and were able to drive to service nearby to keep tabs on potential campfire bans. Centrally located so that you can access all the OP has to offer from this base of operations.

Big campsite, can fit a 9x14 tent easily. Conveniently located near bathroom, but without too much noise.

Pros-a wasp nest in our site was dealt with promptly Generally quiet and friendlyCons- why no soap in rest room? Very strange.Site still had some garbage in it from previous guests

Site: 53C: very spacious site where you definitely have room to park 2 vehicles and 2-3 tents. You have some partially obstructed views of the lake through the trees. Close to one of the bathrooms which looks to have been remodeled recently and reasonably close to the Loop C bathroom as well. Only downside is the lack of privacy: the site 54 has a pretty clear view of your site and you're right above the walk-in sites below. Since the site is wide you also are pretty exposed to the loop road so not much privacy from other campers that are walking to/from their campsites.
