IMHO, the Sol Duc Hot Springs resort in the Olympic National Park is a total waste of time and money. We paid to stay three nights in the "RV campground" which turns out to be just a big, dusty gravel parking lot. No Cell service or Wi-Fi. No bathrooms or showers. We had electricity and water at our site, but no sewer connection. You had to go 1/2 mile down the road to another campground for a toilet.
After driving a complete loop around the entire Olympic peninsula, this "resort" was the only area we found where you have to pay National Park entry fees. In addition, after paying entry and camping fees, they still wanted $18 per person ($12 for kids and seniors) to splash around in their artificial concrete "hot springs" pools for 90 minutes.
While there is some beautiful scenery and some interesting features in the Olympic National Park, I would avoid the Sol Duc Hot Springs resort.
