I stayed here because I was visiting family nearby. It is a beautiful campground nestled in the middle of huge pine trees and access to Lake Conroe. I had a great time at this park.

Park with boat ramp, bathrooms, full hookup for RVs in the National Forest near trailheads for Lonestar Trail. Mens shower out of order.

Very nice park. However with the scrutiny of one park host you are under observation too closely

This was my first visit and it was amazing! My two favorite parts were the quiet and the trails especially the ones leading to the water! I put my fold out chair in the sand and almost fell asleep in the sun! Ill be back again and again!!!!

Cage a very nice place to camp. Our only issue is minimal access to internet and phone service.

The camping experience was very peaceful. Good distance between camps for privacy. Bathroom and shower could use some updating.

Very well maintained campground. Convenient to I45 and not far from College Station, New Waverly or Conroe. Level sites, lot of room on each site and full hook ups. You will meet some great park hosts there. Beautiful park.

Hiking, fishing, boating, great sun sets. Nlce camping sites, plenty of shade, full hookups. Quite settings, somewhat secluded with plenty of room between sites. Bit of a jog to get to shops, but there is an RV shop close by. Restrooms need updating would be my only recommendation.

The park itself is very nice! The bathrooms are in need of some TLC. Our campsite was on the outer perimeter, and the sites are extremely low in the back/high close to the road making it difficult to level the camper. We had no cell service and had to leave the park to communicate with nearby friends that we were meeting throughout our stay.

It was a great park. We are fairly new to the RV world but enjoyed the stay here very much vs an RV park. Sites seemed nicely spread out mostly, with shade and fire pits. I poked my head into the restrooms and shower and was glad we did not have to use them, so that would be an improvement. But the hosts were nice, the park was shaded and quiet, and there is very easy lake access for boats, kayaks, swimming, etc. No issues with the hookups and our site (#12) was fairly level side to side, but front to rear needed a good amount of jacking and leveling blocks for our 32' trailer. Would absolutely stay here again.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
