Great camping spots, beautiful sunsets. Park hosts are very helpful and work hard to make sure restrooms are clean. They keep the camping spots and trails are free of trash and pine straw.

It would be great if the bridges on the long trail along the lake could be repaired . The vegetation is thick & beautiful.The short island trail is also beautiful and there are several areas for handfishing there. We love the full hookups and the large campsites. The boat parking lot is in need of repairs due to the busy boat traffic. This park stays very busy and could definitely warrant some tax money for repairs to restrooms.

Check in was easy. Host was ok, but moody. We have been going to this park for many years. I have never been told that if my dog continues tio bark we would have to put her inside our camper! We do not let her bark out of control, just be aware if you take a dog.

We love to camp at Cagle. The park is kept clean. It is a short distance to get to bank to fish. We had sewer, which is a real plus.

Enjoyed my stay. Nice views and campsite with quick access to lake. One drawback is that the campsite is very close to highway and you hear traffic. Campsites are fairly close together. Campsite had clean restrooms and easy access with one positioned on each site of loop in campsite.

I was in space 34. We had a wonderful stay. The host was very polite. It was our first time at Cagle and look forward toward many more visits.

Wonderful campground. Clean grounds, restrooms, showers. Beautiful trees and lake scenes. We stay here at least twice a year and would stay more often if available.

Stayed at #34, again. Very clean and quiet. Pad isn't level and kinda narrow. Been there twice, going back next month.

Park host was very nice. The park and bathrooms were clean. Did a little bit of hiking on the trails. Had a great camping spot (34) with beautiful views of the lake.

Large sites. Very quiet. Lots of shade. The hosts leaf blow between reservations. The trails were well maintained. I just wished the Cagle trails were connected to the trails in the rest of the park. Walking /bicycling on the highway to get to them is not fun, or safe.

Absolutely beautiful. Lawnmowers were obnoxious, but a necessity I suppose. Will definitely be back.

Very nice rv sites...with(!) dump station on each site. Very clean and attractive environment and terrain. Unfortunately, the fishing from shore was poor. So surprising to NOT see any signs of aquatic life in the lake's edge...ie, minnows. Just seemed sterile. A nice 2 mile loop thru the woods in the Area's boundaries. The Lone Star Hiking Trail was just a mile's drive to a Trailhead for longer walks.

Beautiful site! There is a good 6in drop-off from the site pad to the ground that must be monitored if you are an at-fall risk person or clumsy like me. Otherwise, it was perfect! The park host was superior!
