We were there for a few days with our grandson for spring break, as always, had a great time. The park host were very nice and friendly. Bathrooms could sure use some updating. Not sure who is responsible for cleaning the ashes from fire pit but we had about 6 inches in ours. Site was'nt cleaned up very good either.

Cagle is a hidden treasure! Sites are spread apart and every site has trees so you always have shade. Camp hosts are helpful and Lake Conroe is right there. There is no swimming there but the boat launch is close. Weekends are always booked up so plan in advance!

Really love this campground! Wish I could say a bad thing about it but I can't. Sites are spread out, level, and easy to back into. I guess the only slight thing that's not a positive is that the hookups are in the middle of the site.. might work for some travel trailers but mine are all in the rear. Had to park the trailer a little farther towards the spot.. but not really a big deal. Might actually work better for some of the big rigs.

We love camping at Cagle! The spaces are not too close together and the sites are always clean and neat. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We will camp here regularly.

Loved this campground. Was recommended by past visitor on a RV camping site. Close to the lake and site was well shaded and clean. Site #37

We love the park, with the full hook-ups and amenities. The camp hosts are very accomodating and friendly. The boat area is always busy as it is the only boat ramp nearby. There are still large potholes in the boat ramp loading/unloading zone. The catfish were biting, so it was a great trip, despite the hot temperatures. August in Texas!!!!

Nice and quiet park. Very dark which was nice. I was surprised at how cluttered the camp host sites were. They appear to be full timers as one host site has 4 vehicles and appears that folks are coming and going to full time jobs in the area. My main concern was watching locals pull in during middle of night and park in empty sites and hang out for awhile and then leave. This tells me that gates are never closed as every time we pulled thru the front gates there was never anyone manning the gate shack.

Beautiful and very clean park. Camp sites are not right on top of each other. Great walking trails and places to sit by the water.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
