The campWasFull which is fine but the restrooms need to be cleaned every day with a full camp. We were there over the weekend and on Sunday the trash cans were overflowing in the bathrooms and the toilets were filthy.

We have been coming to Cagle for years and always enjoy our time here. It's clean and well-cared-for - RV pads are clear of any debris and even the trails are blown off. The camp hosts are friendly and helpful - one of the reasons we like it here so much. Faith is a real asset to the park.

A scenic and peaceful resort with plenty of amenity. The restrooms and showers were clean and stocked. The campsite was clean, maintained and manicured. All of the utilities were in proper working order. There are walking trails and lake access paths throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and will definitely return.

We have stayed at Cagle several times over the last 20 years and this time we were lucky enough to secure sg 009. Great spot and level, unlike 007 which we had previously. Place is well maintained and had no real negative encounters.

Level, spacious and shady sites. Friendly and helpful hosts. Some hiking trails paved, others dirt. Fishing pier next to boat ramp is great for sunset watching. Clean bathrooms; shower has excellent water pressure.

Very good visit. Camp ground was clean. Camp ground was full over the week-end but was still quite and peaceful. Camp Host were very friendly and helpful. Had to cut trip short due to weather. Have camped at Cagle Recreation Campground many times, will continue to use the campground.

No cell service but nice quiet comfortable campground. There’s a full timer loving there that is really spreading out a lot so I’d try not to stay near there but the rest look fine

We visit Cagle most years since 2007! It is a no frills campground surrounded by woods & the relatively quiet north end of Lake Conroe. Sites are pretty spacious compared to most. Nice loop areas & trail to walk. Boat launch & parking area right there. Internet service is spotty at best though.

We are so happy when we have successfully obtained reservations to Cagle Park in New Waverly, Texas. We love this park for its beauty and big sites.
We love the Park Hosts and the ability to ride bikes and hike. We go to this park whenever we can because it is close to home if we should need some-
thing. My Husband loves to fish so Lake Conroe is the answer.

Very quiet. We were in SWGU site 9. There are two camping areas at Cagle and this one is farthest from the boat launch which makes it guieter.
@CharlesL272 · Camped on Mar 10, 2021 at Campsite #9
The sites were large and well maintained.

My wife and I camped in Site 9, which was fantastic. It was super easy to back our 22' travel trailer into the site, with a nice 45 degree angle from the loop road. The site was nice and level left/right and only slightly downhill towards the rear of the trailer. We had a fantastic view of forest and nature, with the lake visible through the trees. There were no immediate neighbors on either side of the site, making for a very spacious and private experience. The site had full hookups, along with a steel picnic table and fire ring. There was even a cute little coat hook pole near the fire. There is also a nice semi-paved trail immediately behind the site that wound it's way down to the lake, over to the boat dock, and back. Overall we had a great time on our shakedown trip for 2021 (despite the impending ice storm and accidentally locking ourselves out of the trailer on the very first night). Only negative of the weekend was the lack of cell service... not bad when you want to disconnect but not good when you lock yourself out of your trailer!
