This was our second visit to Hernando Point (and as RV owners in general..HA) It's such a perfect place. We love that we are close to "town" but the feeling of being away. Everyone there was so nice and our dog even had a blast. Can't wait to go back!

VERY clean. Five stars!But, with the lake empty, there is nothing to do. No walking trails, no play ground for children, etc.

A good campground near Memphis.

This was me and my husband's first time venturing out with our new camper. We wanted to go somewhere where we could practice setting/hooking up and not be too far from town/home in case we needed anything. We had such a great time and are already planning to get back there this weekend. I know the water is nonexistent, but we loved just sitting outside, watching the deer walk by, listening to the birds, hearing the rainfall above us. The bathrooms (even though we have our on in our camper) were very clean, the grounds were well kept, and the sheriff who lives on site was incredibly nice. :) We look forward to our next visit.

A nice park. Have been here several times. We were on site six and although the water level is low, we could sit and enjoy a view of the water. Well laid out. Quiet. Clean bathrooms with hot water. Eagles nest above our site. Enjoyed watching the eagle pair glide over the water.

Great location near Hernando. Wonderful full hookup sites throughout. Several shower houses, some newer than others but all in good working order. All sites were paved and fairly level. Plentiful space between sites. Do not come here to enjoy Arkabutla Lake as it is very, very "not here" due to repairs being made to the dam. Come for the wonderful, quiet, well laid out campground experience. Visit Hernando for good food, shopping and entertainment.

We were traveling back home and decided to make a reservation for overnight. The campground was beautiful and with the full hookups, we wished we couldve stayed a couple more nights. The camp is clean and well maintained. We loved our stay!

I booked this from the website assuming that if sites showed as available that they were also acccessable. When I got to the park after dark I drove in approx irately 100 yards and the road turned into a sheet of ice and snow pack. I was driving a 36 rv towing a car in fog and I couldnt drive on the road in front of me. I had to unhook my car and back it up to a wide enough spot to turn around then had to do the same with my rv. I never made it to my campground site. A ranger should have had the website post a warning so people could know the bad conditions at the time of booking.If the roads werent cleared it shouldnt have been listed as open and available. I wasted my money this trip and caused myself and my wife a lot of stress.

There was roughly 3-4 inches of snow/ice covering the road after the snow storm from a week ago. There was no way we were going to take a chance pulling a 42 foot 5th wheel on a road that we could not see. Having never been there we did not know if there were a lot of hills as we were entering the campground. We ended up backing the camper approximately 100 yards to get turned around and left.

Great quiet park. Safe with great hosts. Wonderful views except the lake has been drained for repair to the dam. Still nice for quiet camping.

The camp hosts where not visible and their sites where junked up The Sheriff who lived on site had a pop up and the site was junked up. The dumpsters had garbage on the ground, and it was never cleaned up.

This could be a very nice campground even without the water. The general maintenance of the campground is very lacking. Low spots that have developed over time allows water to stand when it rains. Roadway where it was cut out for improvements need repaired. Again, this could be a very nice campground if people who are in charge take pride in it.

I really enjoyed the park. It's beautiful but, better signage is desperately needed. I arrived after dark and had a horrible time finding the campground.

Stayed one night while driving through the area and looking for something close to I 55. It was a really nice place. Stayed on site 8 and it was a great location for easy in and out.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
