My visit was nice. My campsite as well as the entire campground looked nice. Hopefully, the lake will be refilled very soon.

While the lake is down, the campground is beautiful and well maintained.

Enjoyed our stay. Campground is well maintained and showers were clean with lots of water pressure and hot water. Only thing I would change is the shower heads are short and mounted really close to the wall. We had to stand too close to the wall to be under the water. I also wish there was a gate attendant. Lake level was really low and I hope one day it will be full again. This will be a busy park again when that happens.

Great site, neighboring sites nice distance from ours. Disappointed in seeing the lake drained and learning it may be 9 years before refilling takes place. Nevertheless, well be back to explore Hernando.

Beautiful, serene park. Nice, clean camping spots and restrooms/showers. Even thought the lake is drained, the remaining landscape is a beautiful prairie. We also camped below an Eagles nest and the nesting pair arrived as we prepared to leave.

VERY peaceful and wonderful stay! Easy access to walking. Camp hosts were very nice and welcoming. Had one night of rough weather but we stayed put and rode the storm!

Hernando Point didnt disappoint. Quite and orderly the spaces for camping were well appointed and clean. Didnt use the bathhouses but they seemed cared for. The rubbish bin needed emptying badly but aside that a great time. Also mpb tv is all 5 channels limited. Cel service is almost nonexistent. Lake view is a plus.

Campsite 7 was OK and had a view of the lake. It was cement, we had shade. While wide enough for the RV we stepped out onto the hill. We had an ant infestation, day they crawled up the water hose and into the RV. The next morning we had been infested with gnats. Still dont know how they got in but they were dead. It was a different camping experience

Bathhouse was fairly dirty. Picnic tables were metal and nice. No one was in office or would answer phones when our spot was taken.
