There was roughly 3-4 inches of snow/ice covering the road after the snow storm from a week ago. There was no way we were going to take a chance pulling a 42 foot 5th wheel on a road that we could not see. Having never been there we did not know if there were a lot of hills as we were entering the campground. We ended up backing the camper approximately 100 yards to get turned around and left.

Site 38: shade most the day. Large pad. Easy hookups. Beautiful large park with sites widely spaced from other sites. Didn't use bathroom so no review for those, although one looked brand new. Took about 20 minutes to get to the main highway. As announced, the lake bed is dry. Very quiet!

Quiet and peaceful setting. Bathrooms and showers could use an upgrade but adequate. Easy to book and easy to find.

I was on site 38 and it was excellent. Level, lots of shade in early September. Big concrete handicapped accessible area but picnic table not on concrete. It was off to the side in the grass, which was okay with me but maybe not for someone needing level ground w/ table. It was a big roomy site not close to anyone on either side. Definitely will mark it as a one!

Not that much to do unless you drive in to Hernando but we meet great people and walk around the campground several times a day. We love it here.

This place is beautiful! The sunrise over the lake was awesome, the forests remain and enhance the natural beauty and the sites are spacious as well as clean. Unfortunately there are no drive through sites and the road is fairly narrow making backing into a site more difficult.

Very beautiful campground. The sites are huge compared to alot that I've stayed at. Only issue I have is the interactive campground map that we used for reservation is not accurate. We chose site 38 because it seems secluded and near the water...it's not. I should've looked into that further...so my bad. Will definitely visit again.

Close enough to Memphis to visit Graceland, great view of the lake! We loved this campground!
