Repair the dam and fill the link back up with water would be awesome. But the cleanup and improvements? Has been absolutely. Benefit. We spend. Two to three weeks a year. Particular area. Visiting our grandchildren. And they love riding bicycles. But it'd be nice to have water in the lake.

The camp hosts where not visible and their sites where junked up The Sheriff who lived on site had a pop up and the site was junked up. The dumpsters had garbage on the ground, and it was never cleaned up.

Nice level site. FHU. We pulled in 60 tv channels. Site had full sun. Host on Nice views. There were lots of ants and some wasps under the picnic table. Lots of deer and dragonflies. Grass was knee high

Hernando Point Campground, Hernando, MSThis was a good place to spend a few days while exploring the Memphis area. Our site was #23, a long level pull-thru with full hook-ups and a view of what little lake there is. They are working on the dam, so the lake is extremely low and not very pleasing to look at. This is pretty much a self-service campground; the office was closed and there was no one around and no instructions about checking in, getting a map, or to answer questions. A couple of sites appeared to be occupied by either camp host or full timers, but there was never anyone around either of those sites. We never saw a ranger or host the entire time we were there. Our site had no shade, but several of the back-in spaces were very shady. The grass needed to be mowed and there was a water leak at our site, so apparently there was not much maintenance being done.

Loved our experience. We stayed 12 days in a gorgeous waterfront site. Ample time to explore Memphis as well as the Delta. The park was quiet most of the time.

Second visit, even better than the first. Had beautiful lakeside pull thru site featuring a gorgeous sunset the first night. Only potential downside, the site had no shade, which might be uncomfortable in mid summer heat. It was perfect in the fall.

The park was better than we expected. Trees & shrubs had been thinned out and offered more security because we had a panoramic view of several sites. WE LOVED the full-hookup & it makes the park a new favorite for us.

Very nice campsites, level pads. Very very clean bathhouses nice hot water. Gorgeous sunsets on the lake. Really pleasant stay. Hookups are are new ! We were in spot 23. Not shady, but most other spots are, and trees hadnt come out yet so no problem

Beautiful spot but something was wrong with the water hook up and we ended up having to go to town and buy water to use in the camper. We could not find a camp host.

Great campground!! Didnt enjoy the tornado warnings while there. Beautiful views. Friendly campers.

It was great we didn't want to leave but had made reservations at Wallace Creek and the spot were on at Hernando point was reserved

Very nice campground on a lake. Visited in January so lake level was low. FHU sites available. Would stay here again.

Nice park with full hookups, only down fall was the grass needed cutting it was knee high
