Cotton Hill Campground in Clay County is located 1 hr northeast of Dothan, AL with an elevation of 204 feet. There are a total of 102 campsites including 10 tent-only sites. The campground is open all year. 92 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 28 and 45 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 92 sites have electric and water hookups. 10 sites have electric hookups. Fees range from $24.00 to $56.00. Some amenities include shower, playground, swimming. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Campground has spacious sites and great water views. The sites are clean and well maintained and the staff here were pleasant and helpful.

Everything was great. The campground hosts at the front gate were knowledgeable about the area and places to go for groceries, haircut, etc. You need to remove from your web site description that you have washers and dryers, if you are not going to repair or replace them. The ones there do not work.

The campground was very nice, but the camp host was very rude and not helpful. I would think a camp host would be warm and welcoming instead of acting as if he was being put out when questions were asked. Very disappointed in the treatment of paying campers.

This campground is always a pleasure to visit. The host family was so nice. We got completely set up and discovered we had a busted water line. While there was nothing they could do to help, they were so sympathetic.

Love COE parks and this one definitely didnt disappoint. If youre looking for a lot to do outside the park, this may not be the place for you but if you love to fish, relax and enjoy nature this is the place.

From the moment we checked in, we knew we were going to have a great experience. Our camp hosts, Tom and Ginny, were so helpful and welcoming!! Beautiful site with full hookups!! Facilities are older, but very clean. Lots of great walking! We will be back!!!

The site was clean and staff was great. Restrooms and showers were clean and within walking from our spots. Also, 2 large bald eagle nest were directly across the water from out site.

The campground is nice, but the facilities are poor. No heat in the bathroom and shower. The washer and dryers did not work in either laundry room. We had to beg to get our fire pit cleaned out. No cover on sewer connection which was plugged with leaves. I had to clean it out so I could connect and expect it to work. I asked for a cap so I could cap it when I left. 14 days later when I left, still no cap. Park ranger was at the front office when we went up to ask for some assistance and she snuck out the back door and left with out even talking to us. We like the campgrounds but service and facilities are poor.

Site was Fantastic, Bathroom was Warm & Clean its nice to enter a bathroom when the temperature outside is COLD and you have a warm bathroom to take a shower and use the restroom.
