We stayed for 2 nights in site 102 which is on the water. There was water and power at this site. There was no trash left around and the site was tidy when we arrived. It was quiet at night. The staff was friendly. We loved our stay!

Weather was perfect. Our campsite was a great location with a view of the lake. Had the pleasure of watching the deer eat every morning and every evening. Looking forward to our next trip. Our pup enjoyed the dog park where she could run free.

Of the mini army core campgrounds that I have visited over the years, Cotton Hill was one of the best for hiking, biking and kayaking. Most of the shorelines for a beaching the kayak or not red clay, but Sandy. Most all campsites we're in excellent condition and level. All campsites had full hook ups. Electrical pedestals were well maintained. Two of the sections campsites were off the road for a quietness. Space between most campsites was exceptional. Playground areas for the children was located at the beach site and was not crowded. I would give this campsite a 10 out of five stars.

we had a fire in the fire pit early in the morning and we had left to go to the store and the attendant on duty actually called my phone and said that I needed to return to the campground asap because I left a fire unattended so when I got back there was a little bit of smoke coming from the ash which was minute and found a note on the picnic table from the attendant stating about the smoke so at that point I rode around the campground and spotted at least 6 campsites that had camper trailers on them but were unoccupied with actually fires in the fire pit so I feel like I was being signaled out for some reason by that park attendant that was really rude

This is a beautiful campground very quiet and peaceful! The camp volunteers were very nice and helpful! My only complaint is the lack of restroom/shower facilities.

The campground was noticeably cooler than the surrounding warmer temps in the area. Our campsite was shady with an excellent view of the lake. The campground nature trail is an added item of interest. We chose to arrive before the first Saturday of the month when the museum in Fort Gaines is open. A must see! We love Cotton Hill!

We were in site 23 and loved it. So much so that weve booked another stay in that same site in the near future. Lots of space and nice view.

The marina view loop had the look of it not been taken care of. The pads were overgrown with grass and weeds. I had to clear out the weeds and grass so my child could walk on the pad. It also had ant beds throughout the pad. I was bitten by ants multiple times while grilling. The attendant at the gate was very disinterested and told be not to clean the pad and it was the Corp of engineers responsible. I contacted the corps and asked if I could make it better for the next person and they said it was ok. I have stayed here in the past and this was the worst it has ever been.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
