Large flat sites, beautiful park--probably the quietest I've ever stayed at.

The good: Beautiful campground. Clean restrooms. Level site. Plenty of shade.The not so good: Check in. My husband and I are not used to being "instructed" as we were. Ordered to go back to our vehicle until it was our turn to check in. Yelling through the side door was not very friendly in my opinion. It got worse from there. My husbands America the beautiful pass signature wasn't clear enough for the gentleman checking us in. He made him sign it again in front of him. Their attention was then turned to our vehicle's rear view mirror where the previous camp ground hang tag was still there which irritated them. Using the same tone as the "get back in your camper" instructions we were "instructed" to remove all hang tags. And lastly the instructions about being locked out of the campground if we were not back by 10 p.m. I mean, really? No reason to be like that, we are nice people!

Sites on the lake are all great. Very nice park.

The lot was beautiful. The only problem was a tree right by our bedroom dropping acorns day and night. It needs cutting down very hard to sleep when it sounds like bullets are hitting your trailer all night. Other than that loved the park.

The staff are always friendly unlike some of the other campgrounds we've been at. The site was clean and ready when we arrived. We'll be back soon.

The campground was well maintained, clean and quiet. Theres a nice trail you can take from one end of the campground to the other. Although it was full of campers, it didnt feel crowded at all in our camp area. We had a nice site backed up to the lake. We enjoyed looking at the wildlife. The bathrooms were clean and heated (chilly when we were there. Were definitely going back to visit. There are no sewage connections at the campsite, but there are two dump stations in the park that are easily accessible.

First off, this was one of the most scenic views from our waterfront campsite. Which they had many, I think maybe more waterfront than not. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but very clean. The power and water worked great, the pump out (two of them) worked fine with good water pressure. I would recommend this sight for anyone wanting to relax and look out the back side of their camper to a wonderful sunset most evenings. We did fun a steak/burger/seafood place real close by. It had a small salad Bar with everything I liked on it.

Lovely camp ground, nice level site, good fishing on lake. Best restaurant in town to visit is Thelmas-go hungry.

We loved our stay at White Oak. This is a very nice, clean and quiet campground. You cant go wrong staying there, most of the spots are right on the water. Shower houses are clean. We will definitely be back!

We enjoy coming here with our pontoon that we can beach right at the campsite. If the campground had full hookups, we'd probably never leave!

Our camping of 8 days was very enjoyable. The staff was efficient. It may have been because of the Fed shutdown the contractor for cleaning was slack. Love a campground that does not hassle you every day about ridiculous policies. Great stay at White Oak Creek.

Excellent camp ground, sad we had to cut our 4 day weekend to 2 days due to emergency health problem. Recommend the camp ground gates not be looked at night, without giving campers access to leave for an emergency room visit.

Campground was excellent but the check in host was not welcoming! Glad the campground was nice and made up for the rudeness.

Park needs to fine pet owners for not controlling their pets! Pick up after them and keep them on the leash. Park looked and sounded like a dog pond. This has always been one of our favorite places to camp but it has changed!

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
