The old Karen running Hardridge Creek Campground in Eufaula, AL is hands down the rudest, most unprofessional person Ive ever dealt with at a campsite. Her attitude was aggressive, demanding, and completely out of line for someone working in hospitality. I rented the site for two days but walked away early just to avoid further interaction with her. It felt less like a getaway and more like being scolded by an angry, entitled hall monitor. Until shes replaced, I will never returnand Id strongly caution others to think twice before booking here.

The gps took us on a very indirect route, which was a bit treacherous. Also be aware that there are Argentine ants there. I didnt realize until I saw them on the power cord. The space we had was very private and beautiful. I would go back another time, if we will be in that area.

Great place to stay. Beach is excellent and the people that run it are great and friendly.

Loved my 2 stays there over the past couple of months. I'm not a seasoned "camper", and my experiences with other campgrounds for comparison purposes are limited. That being said, I thought Hardridge was one of the nicest places I've stayed at, and I was very pleased with the accommodations. Big, clean, well equipped campsites with ample room between other campsite "neighbors." Awesome views of the lake. Very peaceful and relaxing. The Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'm booking another 4 days at the beginning of August and am looking forward to my repeat stay.

Tree limbs hanging down over paved roads and overflow parking need to be trimmed. A Limb damaged the Bimini top on my boat. Site had weeds growing 8-10 tall on graveled part of camp site, workers cut grass but not weeds

So peaceful and everyone was so friendly. We arrived early and no one was in our spot so the nice young lady at the gate let us go a head and set up. Definitely visiting again on Labor Day weekend.

COE lovely park, Full hookup-back in site. Very green and nicely pavement sites. Well maintained. Love it. Would stay again. We got on our bikes and road whole park, took us about 1 1/2 hours of wandering thru it. Beautiful.

Why are you guys closing the park during the best time of the year? That needs some serious consideration

We are somewhat new to camping and found this park to be fantastic! Beautiful, clean, easy to maneuver within and very well kept. We would love to come back soon!

First the guy at the gate wish I would have gotten his name. But the one at the campground entrance was not polite or helpful at all and very rude to the point I had to raise my voice with him. Big thing no golf carts are ridiculous especially when you tent camp. Having to walk to the facilitys is unnecessary. Another huge issue is the exit gate is pad locked after 10 pm. That should be an automatic gate. I should not have to wake anyone up to unlock a gate to take my daughter home because she got sick. What if it was a real emergency. To much time wasted trying to get out. I have no Intention on staying at this camp ground again

This was my first time staying at a COE campground and I really enjoyed the stay. The spot, #12, was very level (side to side). I arrived early (around 1:00pm) on a Wednesday for a two night stay and host would not let me enter because a camper who had not checked out yet was still in my spot. I drove to the day use area and waited 1 1/2 hours before my spot was empty (host called me). When I was finally allowed to enter campground, I was amazed there were so many empty spots, well over half of the camping spots were empty and remained that way through my stay. I was curious as to why camp host didn't offer me another spot when I first arrived, but didn't ask. I did enjoy my stay, very nice and peaceful. Gnats bothered me from about 3:00pm until sunset each day and being a wooded area, I was surprised there weren't many mosquitoes after sun went down, although I didn't sit outside much at night. I was amazed at the amount of song birds in the area and enjoyed seeing and hearing them. There are two dump stations, very clean, and easily accessible allowing me to take my time emptying my tanks when I was leaving. I will go back as it is a very nice campground.

Had a pull-thru slot, site 16, and loved it. Cell service was spotty from this site but managed a 1 bar 4G LTE. Got 12 TV channels on roof top antenna. The grounds were very clean as were facilities; fish cleaning station, pavilions, showers, public bathrooms, and swimming areas.

We were in the Shady loop which is the only FHU loop in the campground. We had no trouble getting our 42 foot 5th wheel around in the park, but there are some low hanging branches around. The concrete pads are level but many of the driveways are fairly steep. Some of the sites are very short. Many of the water connections are on the patio side at the rear. There are only two bath houses in the campground. Each one has a washer and dryer. The dump station is a double but the trash dumpsters are very near the entrance. The gate is locked from 10 to 7. There is no Wi-Fi but good Verizon coverage. There were no stores nearby. There is a Family Dollar and Dollar General in Fort Gaines.

Loved the quietness of it. The lot we got was good. The only problem was the lady at the front gate was not very nice. She was snappy about questions if asked. But all in all it was good. I would stay again.

For once, my site was clean and grass had been mowed. Great fishing as always. Great camping experience.

Pirates Cove was a beautiful one-night stopover on our way south to the Gulf. Lake views on both sides and the pull-through was extra convenient since we were towing a vehicle. High marks except for the old curmudgeon fella at the gate. He had a really bad attitude and was grumpy. For example, when I asked if he was having a good day he replied I was until you pulled into the wrong lane to check-in. Another example, when I told him I wasnt sure if we needed to check-in he replied you check into hotels, why wouldnt you check in here too?. This was the first time for us to this area and to this particular campground. Poor attitude for the ONE person we interacted with that represented the place. Suppose it was easier for him than being nice and welcoming. Absolutely gorgeous place. If you come, I hope you wont have to be met by this man.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
