We stayed here 4/08-4/12 on site 58, Marina View loop. This was a back-in, mostly level pad with a crushed gravel patio area. Lots of shade and a great view of the lake. Plenty of room for both the RV, tow dolly and extra vehicle. Great place to fish from the bank, set up hammocks, and launch an inflatable boat. The water is perfect for paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, inflatable boats, pontoon boats, etc. Most of the sites in the park have a lake view, and many are water front. Our particular site had sewer hook-up, which was great for a four night stay. We had no trouble navigating the roads with our 33 ft MH plus towable. There is one hiking trail on site; its a nice shaded hike over mixed terrain with some elevation change, but fairly easy. About 1 mile. We visited nearby Eufala just across the river and found a nice walkable section of old downtown with quaint shops and a great ice cream place. ATT cell signal strength was 2 bars at our site. This was more than enough for all phone use and data use as well. We were able to stream video using a Roku without issues.

You need a bigger sign on the main road. It’s easy to miss and you don’t see it until you are right on it. The couple’s on the gate are so friendly and helpful. We went over to bagby with plans to eat dinner and found out they don’t open Thursday night. We enjoyed camping at cottonhill and plan to return!

We stayed in a 35ft. Fifth wheel site 58 on the marina loop. Beautiful site facing the water. New grill, and prep table that we enjoyed. Super nice people at check. Because we wanted our rig to sit right next to the table we had to run our water and sewer hose a considerable distance. Not a problem just make sure you have plenty of hose.
All the sites are spacious and clean. My DH said the bathhouse is very nice! We enjoyed our time and will be back.

Wonderful campground! Super low rates. Great campsite. We were VERY disappointed that the playgrounds were closed off. We booked a site right by one of the playgrounds thinking the kids would be super entertained while we were there. The playground looked fun with swings, slide, monkey bars and merry-go-round. We will definitely be back again but before we come Ill call and make sure the playgrounds are not closed (due to COVID)
