Cotton Hill campground is one of my favorite places to stay in southwestern Georgia. It is quiet, beautiful and the sites are well spaced and have full hookups on most sites. The camp hosts are always friendly and helpful.

People in the front gate were excellent, very pleasant. AT&T had excellent signal. Lots of over the air TV stations. Laundry was nice and inexpensive. We were on site 33. Nice and easy for a big rig.

This is the first time we camped at this park. It is very nice & well laid out as to the campsites. Nice & quiet as well. It's great to have laundry here too.

Excellent campground that is very well maintained. When selecting sites, pay attention to the slope, since some rigs will scrape and hangup on the pavement at a few locations. Good boat ramp facility and many people tie their boats up to the bank near their sites, very convenient. Deer frequently seen around the campground and various other wildlife. While the beach loop is closed in winter, it is very popular during the warmer months. Large walk up loop with sites that are not reservable. Nearest town is Ft. Gaines with very modest shopping available. Nearby points of interest include Kolomoki Mounds State Park and Providence Canyon State Park

Love this beautiful and quiet campground. While the bath house was certainly clean, we had one issue I think should be addressed. The cleaning company used a massive amount of bleach. I went into shower area about two hours after they were done and my eyes and throat were burning within 10 minutes. I foolishly went ahead and took shower (tho taking precaution of having the outer door open for ventilation. My throat was still having problems 4 days later. Another camper shared she had problems also. I realize they are being extra cautious with cleaning during Covid. But this was way over the top. I hate to think how someone with long term lung issues from Covid, or those with other lung issues, would be affected by this. It needs a solution. At the very least a warning sign on the door. That aside, we do plan to return soon but will be far more cautious

Clean and well maintained campsites with great views of the lake amongst towering mature trees. Contracted services do a good job keeping bathrooms and shower house clean. Roads and camp pads paved. Gravel around picnic table, fire pit, and grill.
