We enjoyed the campsite, boating, and fishing. We used the pavilion for a few meals and card games. This is a great campground. The site was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip.

Nice spot if you enjoy bird watching.Decent camp sites. Though to be fair they are a bit tightly packed. So be sure to bring your privacy curtains unless you want people to see you getting dressed. The little hiking trail is nice, and reasonably well maintained with foot bridges over marshy areas. I especially appreciated the observation blind set up at one end of the lagoon. Great place to hang out with your telephoto lens equipped camera. Bring a sandwich!It seems this location is popular for boating. So do not be surprised if you hear a lot boat engine noise. Some shallow draft boats will moor right by their campsites. I expect it gets a little noise in the warmer months.

It is so difficult to get a site a full week because people reserve the weekends. And if you don’t book way in advance you sometimes can’t get a site that will accommodate you because sometimes renters or small campers take up the bigger sites. You need to go back to some first come first serve sites

We always enjoy staying here at Cotton Hill. Very nice campground facility. Good pull through spaces. And a laundromat which came in handy.

Cottonhill is a beautiful camping area! There is a perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation. We enjoy the lake and fishing!

We always enjoy our time at Cottonhill. Very nice to have full hook ups and a park that is well maintained. Our party of 8 had 3 campsites near a picnic area that was still fenced off. We knew it was fenced during the pandemic but we think its time to remove those barriers. The CDC has recently said its okay to be outside without a mask.

Cottonhill is a very accommodating camping area with many amenities! Spaces are large and theres plenty of room to explore.
