Campground is very nice and sites are large. Some have steep declines to get down to the site. Hosts are a little over the top and not real friendly. Employees were borderline difficult to deal with and could use some training on working with people. One of the members of our group was harassed daily by employees.

We totally enjoy the camping experience at Cotton Hill. Super clean and excellent staff. The sites are very well spaced out and large and covered with I think decomposed granite or crusher base compete with fire ring, picnic table, wooden table, and lantern hook. The best amenity is the fast this COE is full hook up. We love this park and are lucky it is within a couple hours drive. Kolomoko Mounds State Park is several miles away and we love to take a lunch trip over to Bluffton and have lunch amd walk around the farm at White Oaks Pasture. Just waiting for the next return trip!

We didn't know what to expect our first camping trip to a COE Campground. Well we were more than plesently surprised but I think this is one of or maybe the nicest campgrounds we have been to. The check in was great and we were given lots of info about both the park and the surrounding area. The park was impeccable. Almost all sites were on or had a view of the water. A great plus was water, electric and sewer! Site are very well spaced and ours was HUGE. Plenty of room, picnic table, fire ring, lantern stand and utility table. The only issue we saw was that some sites would be difficult to get into due to the approach angle of the driveway onto the pad. Some were very steep. I think they need to figure out how to describe this feature. Other than that we enjoyed our time there so much we made a reservation for a future date. COE campgrounds will definitely be ones we will be checking out more often. LOL the wife even bought the COE catalog of all the campsite facilities available. Looking forward to more stays, Thanks for such a well done campground.

Beautiful location; site was level and spacious. Loved that sites are staggered so you’re not looking out your windows into the neighbor’s windows. Our site gave a great view of an osprey’s nest... occupied by 2 adults. Will definitely be back. Only disappointment was that the gov’t site for senior passes instructs that Cotton Hill campground is an issuing location so we delayed purchasing the pass but on arrival Dennis told us we had to use the website; additional $10 cost.

Full facilities with access to laundry on sight. Fishing and hunting in the area is excellent.
