5G 4 barsSharing my cycle route as FYI. #126 is on the water and a barge has been by on week days, twice each day. Not sure if this is the norm. Then. At the other end of the route is the dam/lock that the barge has to traverse. Probably a couple miles from entrance to campgroundBasketball court & ( possibly) a pickleball courtBath house
Men’s side has 2 toilet stalls, urinal and 2 showers. One toilet and one shower are (apparently ADA).Shower could have second curtain for privacy ( as in, it was missing so you derobed and dressed in open area)PVPV GATE HOUSEPV1PV2PV3PV4PV5PVCG

Pretty basic. Restroom was in a mess. Park manager was very nice and informative about the town and places to eat and go.

Very quiet and peaceful. Very relaxing as well. Helped the campgrounds by picking up fallen limbs in order to build a fire. Worked out great. The weather was typical for fall, warm day and cool nights. My wife was able to see a barge passing during night time. It brings back fond memories for her. We had another really good experience with our 6 yr old dog, a Great Pyrenees, 2nd trip for her. Very nice campground with a kids playground and lots of space to walk or ride bicycles or fish.

Right on the water campsites for easy access fishing. Tug boats and barges close up for sightseeing. Camp hosts are very friendly.

Very clean and super nice host! The campground is amazing! Nice big sites and very peaceful! The only thing I would say to do is there are a few sites that are on the water however you cant really see the water because the grass is so tall that backs up to the water. Other than that its a perfect place to relax!!!!

We love Pickensville COE. The staff are helpful and friendly, although they are stretched a little thin. Bath houses are clean and well maintained. I would like to see some of the underbrush cut between site 114 and the water. We had a great time.

Pickensville CG is a nice place to camp.It has the Tombigbee River for boating and fishing. Many campsites to choose from and are level with plenty of shade. We were able to rest and relax. Nearest small town is approximately 20 minutes away. Only convenience is a Dollar General. We did have a good experience at the country campground.

I have been here several times and always enjoyed the peace and quiet and usually clean sites. This time our concrete pad had a lot of gravel on it, the fire pit was full of ashes some pieces of wood and a lot of trash. Groundskeeping has really gone downhill. At least the bathhouses were clean.we still enjoyed our time there.i will go again but I hope the maintenance is better next time.

The park was very nice with a rustic feel to it. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The in park roads were a little confusing with dead ends but had turn arounds easy to navigate

We constantly had people cutting through our campsite adults and kids on bicycles bumping into our vehicles, they would not stay on trial.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
