Fish cleaning station!If you need to work , ATT is really good at the dam/lock , about 3 miles away
5G 4 barsSharing my cycle route as FYI. #126 is on the water and a barge has been by on week days, twice each day. Not sure if this is the norm. Then. At the other end of the route is the dam/lock that the barge has to traverse. Probably a couple miles from entrance to campgroundBasketball court & ( possibly) a pickleball courtBath house
Men’s side has 2 toilet stalls, urinal and 2 showers. One toilet and one shower are (apparently ADA).Shower could have second curtain for privacy ( as in, it was missing so you derobed and dressed in open area)PVPV GATE HOUSEPV1PV2PV3PV4PV5PVCG

Our family has many wonderful memories of past camping stays at this campground. So many campers all friends though strangers; happy children playing hours together on playground equipment; laundry facilities; bagged ice for sale; nearby summer swim area; and now, there's only one unkempt play area in the entire campground! No laundry room. A sad rusting unit where bags of ice once was stored. Bath houses showing their age due to no upkeep or improvements. Upon check in, nobody to greet you, or drive by to chat. At least we have pictures and warm memories of what once was.

Tent camped along the waterway in this massive park. It wasnt crowded at all. Every lot had shade; lots away from water were the shadiest though they might be more buggy because of standing pools of water with trees growing in them and much algae. Camp hosts were helpful. Bathrooms cleancould use better mirrors and a hook or two or even a bench in sink area. Water pressure was beyond phenomenal. I think Kramer put in the shower head! Best ever! Almost painful! Trash can is distant on way out of park and requires stair climbing oddly. Weather in mid April was perfect for tent camping. One other tent on grounds but mostly RVsappeared to be all from Alabama.

They are making nice improvements along the river, cutting back undergrowth. Looks nice.

We had a great time. The only problem was that the water got cutoff with no warning. The Ranger said that they didnt have any warning either. It stayed off all day but came on in time to get a shower. The ranger were cleaning up underbrush which was badly needed. It looks great. Thank you.

We enjoyed this park due to the boardwalk and being on the river to watch the barges - sites 126 and those below 123 seem to have sewer connection - 124 does not and has a big up heave in the concrete so if you are low don't get that one - shady spots along the river are 112 to 136 - We stayed in 124 and 135 while there - sunny spots would be 111 down.

Riverside sites are good, that is where we stayed 133 and 135. We rode to Brooksville MS and went to the Ole Country Bakery and then went to Southern Relics on south down the road.

Nice / beautiful location. Park was not well maintained. Over-grown grass and leaf debris everywhere. Dropped logs from trees in the green areas that looked like they had been there for years and the staff was simply mowing around them. RV Pads covered with what looked to be years of debris. Fire pits full of ash and obviously never cleaned. Not what we normally see at Army Corps of Engineers federal parks at all.

I've been trying to let you know we were suppose to leave Sunday but had to leave Friday. We should have 2 nights credit. I haven't been able to reach anyone because it keeps hanging up when I call. We did have a great time while we were there though. Please let us know about our credit. Thanks.

We were there 5 days, site 127 is on the water where you can fish from the bank and watch the barges go by.

Park was pleasant and mostly clean. Camping pad didnt have any gravel on it. Major issues with cell service and tv stations. Will need an extra antenna to pick up stations

Park was very clean and neat. Only thing is the trees need pruning higher to accommodate tall 5th wheels.

Very nice waterfront site, everything worked properly. I did not use the bathouses so I can't comment on that.

The host are all so sweet and ready to help in anyway they can. The camp site was very clean and ready for us to pull on it and enjoy our weekend in which we did just that.
@JimR3616045 · Camped on Feb 20, 2026 at Campsite #131
Nice well spaced sites on the Ten-Tom Waterway. Saw a large tug and barges go right by our site.

Bathhouse were absolutely nasty. Great area just needs limbs trimmed around some of the sites. Web sight for reservation needs an update.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
