5G 4 barsSharing my cycle route as FYI. #126 is on the water and a barge has been by on week days, twice each day. Not sure if this is the norm. Then. At the other end of the route is the dam/lock that the barge has to traverse. Probably a couple miles from entrance to campgroundBasketball court & ( possibly) a pickleball courtBath house
Men’s side has 2 toilet stalls, urinal and 2 showers. One toilet and one shower are (apparently ADA).Shower could have second curtain for privacy ( as in, it was missing so you derobed and dressed in open area)PVPV GATE HOUSEPV1PV2PV3PV4PV5PVCG

I have been here several times and always enjoyed the peace and quiet and usually clean sites. This time our concrete pad had a lot of gravel on it, the fire pit was full of ashes some pieces of wood and a lot of trash. Groundskeeping has really gone downhill. At least the bathhouses were clean.we still enjoyed our time there.i will go again but I hope the maintenance is better next time.

The park was very nice with a rustic feel to it. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The in park roads were a little confusing with dead ends but had turn arounds easy to navigate

We constantly had people cutting through our campsite adults and kids on bicycles bumping into our vehicles, they would not stay on trial.

Had great time. Caught some catfish. Host were very nice. Just wish it was a little better ATT service. I know that is out of your control. But we had a great time with our camping club. Will be back

Pickensville Campground is a hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy peaceful days on the water and some good old-fashioned outdoor fun. Nestled along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, one of the best parts of staying here is sitting under the shade trees and watching the big riverboats roll by its relaxing and mesmerizing, especially in the evening light.The campground itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Sites are spacious with plenty of natural shade, making it comfortable even on warmer days. Its a great spot for families, couples, or solo campers who just want to unplug and enjoy nature.Bike riding around the park is another favorite. The roads are smooth and low-traffic, perfect for a peaceful morning ride or an evening cruise as the sun goes down.Whether youre there for a weekend or a longer stay, Pickensville offers a little slice of riverside heaven. Bring your camera, your bike, and your love for the water you wont be disappointed.

We love Pickensville COE. Nice and quiet campground. The Core of Engineers had placed rocks along the shoreline on the river. Big improvement since our previous visit. While camping this week I found the app MarineTraffic. Allows you to track the passing barges. See whos coming and where they are from etc.

Campground was clean and very quite. There were only 10 other units in the campground. Even though we had a significant amount of rain, the area around our site drained almost immediately.

It's a great camp ground ... however this time there was no one at the front entrance the entirety of our stay. We were never checked in. This was the same experience of all of the campers around us. There were several times that random people were in the camp ground just riding around, like a large group of motorcycles.Just not the norm for other camp grounds we've been to, and will definitely will play a part in visiting there in the future.

Lots of room for walking and biking. I only wish the washer and dryer were available for campers. It is a remote location, and that would make life so much easier.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
