We were there 5 days, site 127 is on the water where you can fish from the bank and watch the barges go by.
This was a great level site for our 5th wheel. Easy access, table, fire pit and a great river view. The restroom was just across the street. This is a very large COE campground, quiet and clean.

From the first Day we arrived on lot 127 our neighbor had loud music every night. I was awakened the several nights after midnight, not only with the music but constant Dog barking. The dog was chained and reached almost to our picnic table. We couldnt sit outside without being barked at. The Camp Host left the Wednesday we arrived and didnt return until Saturday, So we had no one to complain to. We stay at COEs a lot but this was the worst Camping experience weve had anywhere.

Nice large shady campsite Friendly camp host and people. Just wish they had sewage hook up at all sites.

Absolutely loved Pickensville! Stayed there the last weekend of January it was awesome. Sitting by the river watching a Bald Eagle fish right in front of us was such a treat.

Great campground......quiet with Beautiful sights on the river.....will be back..... only reason for 4 stars not 5, is so few sites with sewer

We stayed on site #127 for 4 days and really enjoyed watching the traffic on the Tenn-Tom waterway. The campground was wooded, quiet and clean. Other campers were friendly and helpful while socially distancing and wearing masks. We were conveniently located right across from a bathhouse which was also clean. The only problem we had was that the bathhouse cleaning crew went in on Wednesday and literally washed down the whole place including walls, and left the facility very wet. I was so concerned that I would slip on the standing water on the floor that I did not use that bathroom for about 24 hours. It should have been dry mopped before they left. We will go back again! The office staff and the hosts in the campground were very friendly and helpful. The other comment that I have is that the map on Recreation.gov is really messed up and does not give a good representation of the actual campground!

We really enjoyed how peaceful it was here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Also enjoyed seeing the boats and barges. We will definitely be back soon!
