The campground was quiet, and the park host were friendly and helpful.

All went well and we had a great time. The view of the river from our site is hindered by the underbrush that needs to be cleared. Otherwise we enjoy our stay.

Very clean and super nice host! The campground is amazing! Nice big sites and very peaceful! The only thing I would say to do is there are a few sites that are on the water however you cant really see the water because the grass is so tall that backs up to the water. Other than that its a perfect place to relax!!!!

We love Pickensville COE. The staff are helpful and friendly, although they are stretched a little thin. Bath houses are clean and well maintained. I would like to see some of the underbrush cut between site 114 and the water. We had a great time.

This was our first time in the campground and it was dark and rainy upon arrival. The campground host was very helpful to in directing us to our campsite. Its a beautiful place and will definitely hope to make it back again!!

Nice campground and very helpful camp hosts. The sites are level and spaced very well. We really enjoyed watching the tugboats going by pushing the barges. This is a nice, clean campground - we will return!

Great location. Bath and shower upkeep was good; better than most COE campgrounds weve been to. T-Mobile signal was very good. Was able to run 2 TVs, 4 security cameras and home WiFi network plus two iPhones while using FaceTime with the grandkids. Watching barges and boats on the waterway was very enjoyable. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Would return again.

Located on the river with many sites to choose from. Our site 14 was a pull through directly across from bathhouse which was clean but could use updating. Our site was spacious but there are some sites closer together. There are both pull through and back in sites. The sites have picnic tables, fire ring, and poles to hang whatever you choose from it, we put our bucket light on it. The hosts were nice and helpful. We didnt have power at our site to plug up the camper but the hosts made a call to have someone take care of it. A guy came about an hour later figured out the problem, he left to get parts needed which took him a couple of more hours. We did get power just before supper time. Not complaining at all because we arrived around lunchtime and were allowed early check in. Luckily the weather that day wasnt too hot and we just enjoyed hanging outside watching boats and visiting with family and friends.

We camped here on our first camping trip last week. It's such a nice campground. Lots of shade, quiet, peaceful and a bird watcher's paradise. We especially loved seeing bald eagles.

Another great COE park. Sites clean and very friendly staff. Excellent T-mobile coverage. Able to stream with Roku. No satellite due to trees. Interesting to watch tugs and barges on the river. Lock and dam is close enough to watch boats go thru.

First time utilizing pull through. Also gave us one of the fewer sewer hookups. Sites are clean, crushed rock picnic pads are well maintained. Barges passing by so close were a treat. Lock and dam was close by as well. Love these COE campgrounds.

Pickensville is always our favorite Corps park. The pads are in good shape and trees do not come too close to campers. Wooden fishing piers and bridges add fun and interest. Great for cycling.Only issues we would like to bring up are : state of property behind site 114 and it's neighbor. Much natural undergrowth including downed pines, an abundance of briers and growth of vines makes it difficult to walk down to the riverbank or just walk about at one's campsite. Low spots hold water which create mosquito issues. Other issue was the women's bathhouse was freezing! When we reported it, we were told to use another bathhouse. This was poor customer service. Camp host are always nice and helpful. Facilities are always clean. We always enjoy camping here with our grandkids.
