The host are all so sweet and ready to help in anyway they can. The camp site was very clean and ready for us to pull on it and enjoy our weekend in which we did just that.

Pickensville Campground is a hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy peaceful days on the water and some good old-fashioned outdoor fun. Nestled along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, one of the best parts of staying here is sitting under the shade trees and watching the big riverboats roll by its relaxing and mesmerizing, especially in the evening light.The campground itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Sites are spacious with plenty of natural shade, making it comfortable even on warmer days. Its a great spot for families, couples, or solo campers who just want to unplug and enjoy nature.Bike riding around the park is another favorite. The roads are smooth and low-traffic, perfect for a peaceful morning ride or an evening cruise as the sun goes down.Whether youre there for a weekend or a longer stay, Pickensville offers a little slice of riverside heaven. Bring your camera, your bike, and your love for the water you wont be disappointed.

It's a great camp ground ... however this time there was no one at the front entrance the entirety of our stay. We were never checked in. This was the same experience of all of the campers around us. There were several times that random people were in the camp ground just riding around, like a large group of motorcycles.Just not the norm for other camp grounds we've been to, and will definitely will play a part in visiting there in the future.

Always get site 123 next to the Tombigee River. Can't wait for next year. If any of you are "birders" I located over 50 different species of birds while we were here

Our favorite campground. The staff are all excellent & very friendly. I got several Bald Eagle pictures. We will be back to this place again. Verizon signal 2 bars by the water.

Hosts are very nice. Clean restrooms. Paved pads with side gravel, picnic table, fixed grill, work table, light pole and fire pit. Paved roads nice for riding bikes. Playground for kids. Can launch your boat. Love to watch the barges going by in the river.

First- we are SO glad you are open!!! Our site was not cleaned off and the host said their blowers were taken away when they closed. We had red bugs!! So I would say some pest control is needed. We were hoping that the campground would have been upgraded during closure with improvement to sites and new gravel etc to pads. The bath house could use some renovation also. Overall we love Pickensville regardless

We had a great time at Pickensville Campground. Its easy to get to with good RV friendly roads and its right on the Tenn-Tom Waterway. We stayed on a waterfront, full-hookup, back-in site. The very clean and warm restroom and bathhouse was only a few steps away. We will definitely be back.

Pickensville is a great campground. Well maintained. I did like that reservations could be made for off river sewer sites, but now it is almost impossible to get a site with sewer in the time frame when we can camp since the first loop is closed.
