Town Creek Campground in Clay County is located 1 hr 1 min south of Tupelo, MS with an elevation of 192 feet. There are a total of 108 campsites including 10 tent-only sites. The campground is normally open from the beginning of March to the beginning of November. 98 sites can accommodate RVs and trailers between 38 and 120 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Reservations can be booked up to 6 months in advance. 98 sites have electric and water hookups. Fees range from $20.00 to $28.00. Some amenities include dump station, boat ramp, flush toilets. Activities include biking, boating, fishing, hiking trails, floating sports.

Very friendly host welcomed me to the park. Beautiful camp site. Spacious with lots of shade. Quiet overnight stay.

Spoke with Gate Attendants on a couple of different occasions. They are all so very nice! When we got there the site was CLEAN! Leaves had been blown off, no trash in the fire pit, tables were clean. VERY NICE!!!

Very beautiful campground with many waterfront sites. Excellent helpful hosts. It's a bit of a drive for shopping so plan accordingly. I would definitely stay here again.

As a whole, this was an excellent campground with nice facilities. In one respect, we had an excellent campsite (# 031) that was very nicely situated along the water. However, there was small boat dock adjacent to our site (we didn't know this when making the reservation); unfortunately, another camper parked their boat there for the night and left some sort of motor running (maybe a bilge pump) that created subtle but all-night noise. And, well after dark/bedtime, two boats from elsewhere parked at the dock and sat there loudly "socializing." The other downside was to our surprise the camp host, who had an exorbitant amount of lights set up across from our site; I appreciate that they may enjoy having lights at their site but this was over the top, the lights stretch well beyond their site, and the lights were on all night (from inside our tent is was like daylight). The same hosts started a 2-hour session of leaf blowing at 8 am on a Sunday morning; I can't imagine why someone would want to go camping in the woods if they don't like leaves!
