Sandy Creek is a peaceful park with lots of shady spots, some near the lake and some not but you can look at spots before you pick one and thats always a good thing if you have never been. For those that have been you know where you like the best. My last visit was for Thanksgiving week and it was for RR and for a family get together on Thanksgiving day.

Site long pull thru. did not have to unhook for one night. Level. Quiet. hard to locate site numbers in the dark.

Loved the campground. Biked through all the campsites, out on to the county roads, and up to the short hiking trail into the state park. Quick hike up to the state park was easy and fun.

I really like this campground. I go back there a couple times a year and stay for a week or two. AT&T cell connection is wonderful. The grounds and the sites are well maintained and the hosts are very friendly. The bathrooms are a bit rustic and could use some updating, but very clean.

We enjoy the park on weekends! The park is rarely full but even if it is there is a calmness. There is not a play ground the grandchildren would love to have one back. Restrooms are always clean and neat.

I don't want to say too many good things about this park because I don't want more people staying here.

Space 29. Wide open to the South for signal yet really beautiful huge pine trees to the sides. Water view amazing, mist covered in the mornings. While remote, this location is a surreal gem of natural beauty. Entry roads are bumpy but easily driveable. Staff is so welcoming.

Site 14 was about a 200 pull-thru with water and electric. Tons of space between each site which gives plenty of privacy. You wouldnt even think you were in Texas staying here. Sunsets on the lake were gorgeous!

Fantastic sites with lake views that are long and level, suitable for larger rigs. Enjoyed this peaceful and quiet park!

Sandy Creek Park is a beautiful, well maintained park where the sites are spread out and are roomy. There are several pull-throughs that are fairly level and require little effort to set up camp. My Husky loves staying there!

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
