Very quiet and peaceful. Well kept up. Lake is too stumpy for people unfamiliar with the lake to go boating. And fishing from shore is problematic due to brush.

Site was some what convoluted to back into with repairs needed on the pad. Restroom and showers were a disgrace; toilets without toilet paper, not sure if they have ever been cleaned. Doors misfit on toilet and shower stalls with black mold present on the walls. I wouldnt use them.

Be prepared for the dogs barking. Even the hosts have dogs barking ALL day. ALL DAY.

A quiet wide open campground. It was very windy off an on. The blue bonnets were starting to bloom.

Site 8 had a great view of the watercraft, so I got to see several barges both night and day. Right across from the restrooms, which was convenient.I hiked the multiple trails when I arrived and had a quiet night.

This is a beautiful campground that is very spread out. Campsites are very far apart, roads are in excellent condition. Most sites are level or very close. Price is wonderful. It was very windy when we first arrived, we had booked site 31 which is on a point in the lake and has no wind blocking trees. We moved to site 11 after a couple of days and It was wonderful. Huge open yard for our dog to play in and right on the water but the shore line is lined with trees so it blocked the wind. We plan on going back soon. Disadvantage: no sewer hookups and dump station is a long way from everywhere.

The park attendant (Elvin) was very helpful. When I arrived, it was raining and he informed me the site I had reserved was closed. We met under the Pavillion and I was able to book another site. Had he not been there, I did not know what I would have done. Also, we had to leave a day early and Elvin gave us a refund. We have camped at Sandy Creek many times and always have a great time

Sandy Creek Park well kept as always. I wish I could remember the On/line support man's name. He was great. Website wouldn't get me registered, so I called in. Young man was extremely knowledgeable, willing and above all, courteous. I hope you can track him down and thank him, again, for me.

This was a well maintained campground, the host was really nice and friendly. This was the most beautiful and quiet place I have ever been. Definitely my wife and I will be back.

My visit to the park was excellent in every way EXCEPT the dump station. I have a long bed truck and a 42' fifth wheel and it is nearly impossible to make it around the U-shaped area. In anticipation of it being challenging I spoke with two other campers that had 40' and 42' rigs. Both are repeat visitors and suggested to take it as wide as possible. I cleared the first turn no problem but the 2nd turn was the challenge. I was not the first one to have an issue, there was a 4x4 sign post that was knocked over, it was clear more room is needed where the dumpster is located in order to make that turn. I am booked now to be back for an even longer stay next time and hope this is resolved before summer.I had to back up and shimmy several times to get the rig over far enough to miss the curb at the dump hole.

@ChazInSoCal - CA

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.
