This was our third time to stay at Magnolia Ridge. The park is a beautiful place to spend quality time recharging the batteries, and the Host is very nice and friendly. We have looked at other parks and Magnolia Ridge is the benchmark we use to grade where we might go next.It is clean and the camp sites are spaced a good distance apart.Cell service was good and we were able to use our phone hotspot to stream Dish Anywhere without any issues.We would highly recommend this park

We loved the park. It was clean and well maintained and the restrooms were some of the cleanest out of some of the other parks we have visited. Our campsite (#30) on the other hand was a bit disappointing. There was a large drop off from the asphalt pad to the ground making it difficult for my mother to get in and out of the RV. Also the covered picnic table is too close to the pad not allowing us to let the awning out all the way. I would recommend staying here but i would like to see the pads fixed and picnic table covers moved to allow the awnings to be let out all the way. I would definitely research the sites before you make a reservation to make sure it is suitable for you and your RV. Other than these couple minor issues, we really enjoyed the park.

Host was kind and engaging. Discussed possible growth, improvement of facilities.!! Yay! Having levelsites is not difficult. Adding material at edges where people walk, etc would be easy.

Great small campground, not the most beautiful, but very nice. Well spread out, paved pads, hookups work great. Roads are paved (a long time ago) and not bad.

Pros:Magnolia Ridge offers spacious, well-laid-out campsites with plenty of shade and privacy. The amenities showers and restrooms are in decent shape, functional and convenient, though not spotless. Our site was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a family weekend. The park manager was attentive, even stopping by to check in and kindly bringing firewood for our smores night a really nice personal touch.Cons:Come prepared with lots of mosquito repellent, especially during the warmer months. Swimming isnt available, but theres plenty of fishing and several good hiking spots.Overall:A great spot for families who want a relaxed, quiet camping experience. Best enjoyed in the cooler months after the first hard freeze knocks back the mosquitoes, this would make an excellent winter camp destination.

We love coming to you Park. The sites have plenty of space, we love #25, and it is always well maintained. If you happen to time it to see the Magnolia trees in bloom, its a special treat.

It was a nice get away for 3 nights, nice view of the water, the cabinets was fairly clean. The only complaint we had was the construction going on. It would've been nice to be notified when we booked that there would be lots of loud noises and things going on due to construction. That was a little annoying but other than that we had a good time.

We have camped in Magnolia Ridge park several times now. Always a good park. I was pleased to see the new facility for the Veterans alligator event

We never saw a host until we were packing up to leave. We even changed sites after having problems for over an hour with the original site. Only 3 other RVs in the campground while we were there. We did see some deer and other wildlife.

The kids pond was great. Our Granddaughter Journey loved learning to fish. She caught her limit if catfish. She can cast and reel in her fish. She only allowed her Grandma to put her worm in and take the fish off.

Our 5th annual Memorial Day at Magnolia. Other than heat & humidity, we had a great stay.
@DaveH8980161 · Camped on May 14, 2025 at Campsite #21
The park is well-maintained. There is a lot of highway noise and, especially, a lot of highway construction noise. There was also an airboat that was obnoxiously loud while we were there.

This is a beautiful Park. The Camp Hosts are excellent and do a great job. My site was spotless when I came in. I highly recommend Site #7 if you are looking for a semi remote, quiet site. It's not on the water, it's a pull thru, very level, that you can enter either way. I felt like I had the campground to myself. Site 6 is equally quiet, it's parallel to site #7 but not in eye sight. You can park either way in this site as well.

Friendly camp host. Quiet and clean campgrounds.
@DebbieKDA7259B · Camped on Apr 6, 2025 at Campsite #21
Most of the sites back up to the water with views of cypress trees and the alligators that populate the lake. The sites are fairly deep and spacing between sites will vary. The bathrooms are fairly clean but the showers are questionable. But locks are missing on many stall doors.This is a popular campground for fishing, but with the amount of alligators, I wouldnt try kayaking. The campground sits between Woodville and Jasper, both good options for shopping.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
