This is a beautiful Park. The Camp Hosts are excellent and do a great job. My site was spotless when I came in. I highly recommend Site #7 if you are looking for a semi remote, quiet site. It's not on the water, it's a pull thru, very level, that you can enter either way. I felt like I had the campground to myself. Site 6 is equally quiet, it's parallel to site #7 but not in eye sight. You can park either way in this site as well.

Weather was very cold and rainy. Park is lovely but had minimal time outdoors. Water is on wrong side and a distance from driveway. Shower room is unheated and water only warm.Staff was friendly and helpful. Will return when warmer out and hot showers not such a priority

EVERYONE WAS VERY KIND AT MAGNOLIA RIDGE THERE WAS A FEW THINGS MY WIFE DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS ALLIGATORS THERE. THE REST WE COULD DEAL WITH. ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE CAMPGROUND WERE VERY FRIENDLY AT THE CORP OF ENGINEERS. A BIG SHOUT TO CHRIS SMITH AND HER HUSBAND. THEY WERE EXTREMELY NICE AND HELPFUL. I GOT A TICKET ON THE 55 MPH BRIDGE BUT THAT WAS NO ONE ELSE FAULT BUT MINE. HAD A TY-ROD BREAK AND THE PEOPLE AT RESURRECTION WERE GREAT AND FIXED IT THAT DAY. ALSO HAD MY BED LINER STOLE OUT OF MY PU BUT THAT WASNT THE FAULT OF THE CAMPGROUND. SO ALL IN ALL I HAD A GREAT TIME AND ENJOYED THE WEATHER SPECIAL.THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SHOWED KINDNESS TO US DURING OUR STAY

This is an absolute gem of a park. Quiet and peaceful, not a party place. Plenty of quiet trails to hike and bicycle ride. Beautiful bayou views on the back side of the lake. Fabulous bathrooms and showers and everything is well maintained. I cannot say enough about how happy we were to find this place. We cannot wait to come back!
