We love this park! The hosts are wonderful! We liked walking the trails and watching the alligators. Outside of the park we visited The Big Thicket and Martin Dies State park for additional hikes. We recommend The Pickett House g g or family style fried chicken, Wild Bills Grill for burgers, and Martins Mexican Restaurant. They are excellent!

The host, Bob, was the most helpful person! We have been going there for years and thoroughly enjoy our time there. Our lot had been overbooked and Bob fixed the problem. Highly recommend staying there.

The campground was clean and spacious. We never saw nor talked with a camp host? But we didnt require any assistance so all was good.

Very clean and maintained park. Was nice and peaceful. Park hosts were very nice. Loved it there. We were in #27 and had plenty of room. Had nice trails to walk. Fishing pond for 15 and under. Wished I could have fished it, but would never be able to pass as a 15 year old.... Verizon coverage was 4-5 bars....

Magnolia Ridge is a jewel of a campground. So beautiful to see the Bald Cypress on the banks of the lake. And there is such a variety of trees in the campground. My stay was a very pleasant experience.

Love all the native tree species present in the park! Park is clean and well maintained. Attendants do a wonderful job and even blow the leaves off of the concrete surfaces just before your arrival! Please continue to protect all the awesome magnolia, beech, cypress, oaks, and longleaf pine. Thanks for another outstanding visit!

This park was extremely well maintained. We made friends with some alligators that lives behind our site in the lake, and by making friends I mean we watched and took pictures only. We didn’t feed them or go in the water. Our site was about 1/8 of a mile from the next one with tons of huge magnolias and pines. Hosts were extremely nice and helpful!
