The kids pond was great. Our Granddaughter Journey loved learning to fish. She caught her limit if catfish. She can cast and reel in her fish. She only allowed her Grandma to put her worm in and take the fish off.

We love camping at Magnolia Ridge. The camp hosts are great, sites are well taken care of and the facilities are very clean. The children's fishing pond is a wonderful place for the kiddos to safely fish with shade and picnic tables.

A beautiful wooded park and campground on the shores of Steinhagen Lake with cypress trees growing out of the shallows near the shore. Our site was paved and mostly level with a concrete picnic table on a concrete pad under a shelter. There was a wood topped table and double lantern post next to a fire ring with a grill. We had a 30 amp electric hookup and water and there is a dump station within the park. There is also a boat ramp. The park is less than a mile from US 190 where there is a gas station/convenience store as well as a Dollar General.It's about halfway between Jasper, TX and Woodville, TX. Sam Rayburn reservoir is also about 20 miles away. They have hiking trails here but I did not get a chance to walk them, I would definitely return to stay here again.

The Park hosts were TREMENDOUS!!!! Got us firewood & took care of our every need. Site was nice, clean & well maintained. Facilities were old, but in good shape. We had a great time!

Not a very big park in regard to number of sites, but its clean and most sites have nice lay out. Some more remote than others to your neighbors. Talk of Alligators here but it too cold for them this week. Magnolia Ridge Park is located on the northwest side of B.A. Steinhagen Lake, between the towns of Woodville and Jasper, Texas. Both towns are close and have a Hospital and Walmart. This park has a ton of walking trails, forest roads and paved park roads to explore.

we always enjoy going to Magnolia Ridge. It's a small quiet park. sometimes we go to fish;sometmes we just camp. We enjoy boat riding on our pontoon when the lake level is not so low.

This was our first CoE park and it did not disappoint. The park is beautiful. Our site was very large and not too close to others. The bath houses were dated but adequate. The park was very peaceful and quiet.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Hosts and ranger were very nice and helpful. Nice facilities and campsites were very well maintained. We plan to return.
